We have put together another great group of AQHA and APHA horses for sale. We all put great pride into our breeding programs and also in bringing together top-quality prospects for our customers to get a chance at buying. We have a great selection of started and broke horses to offer as well.
Our sale this year again will be on DLMS for those who cannot make it to the sale and would like to bid online. All horses will be checked by the vet for soundness and health. Also, if you are not able to make it to the Saturday morning preview you can stop in Friday evening and take a look at the horses. Mazzy is the kind of horse that is a pleasure to have around: • Super easy to catch and load • Good for the farrier • Bottom of the pecking order • No buck, bolt, or funny business • Has been exposed to kids, quads, go-karts, dirt bikes, goat, and dogs • Has had months off and can be saddled up and put right back to work moving cows without any issues. She has a quiet, honest temperament and a great work ethic. With her versatility, athleticism, and breeding, I believe she could excel as a rodeo prospect, gymkhana horse, or dependable pasture/cow horse. This is an incredibly hard sale. I absolutely adore this mare, and it kills me to sell her.I’m hoping to find Mazzy a home where someone will appreciate her as much as I do and continue giving her a job.

Incentive Information Many of the horses sold in this sale are eligible for multiple incentives. Here is what some of them are and how to get your horse enrolled. If the horse you purchase carries other incentives than what is listed below, please ask the breeder about them. Royal Crown Canada Incentive A program for the roping and barrel racing industries, designed to benefit stallion owners and breeders by returning a portion of the entry fees back to them. It’s a breeders’ incentive program that provides payouts to stallion owners, breeders, and the owners/riders of competing horses. How Do I Nominate My Foal For The Royal Crown & How Much Does It Cost? - There are no nomination fees in the Royal Crown. If your horse is sired by a current Royal Crown stallion, you just need to enter the event! If the stallion was bought in but is no longer in, check our lifetime eligibility to see if it applies to your foal.
Western Fortunes Incentive Western Fortunes Inc. is the original Breeders incentive program. Founded in Canada and comprised of Stallion owners, Breeders and Offspring owners united in the breeding of barrel horses and enhancing the sport of barrel racing nationally. We co-sanction futurities, derbies and open 4D events throughout Canada and the USA.
How Do I Enroll My Foal and how much does it cost? - Complete a “Offspring Enrolment” form, & send it in along with your payment and a copy of the registration papers. The enrollment fee depends on the age of the foal and if any previous payments have been made.
The Breeders Elite Incentive The Breeder’s Elite Incentive (BEI) accommodates for many different avenues of benefits for all who wish to be involved. This Incentive nominates the BREEDER on registration papers so that ALL their offspring are eligible for our annual Sweepstakes with no foal nomination fees. A breeder is not required to own a stallion. This incentive allows for ANY horse bred by a nominated breeder OR sired by a nominated stallion to be eligible to compete in the Futurity and Derby Sweepstakes and the BEI Open.

The Breeders Elite Roping Incentive Canada’s 1st Team Roping Horse Futurity Incentive! This incentive was created by breeders for breeders, as we know the effort that it takes to build great rope horses from breeding, raising & training, all the way to the finished product. This incentive was started so that our great Canadian breeders and trainers of rope horses would have a place to showcase their programs for nationwide promotion!
How Do I Enroll My Foal and how much does it cost? - There is no nomination fee for any offspring. - All offspring, ANY past, present, or future horses the farm is the “Breeder” of (on registration papers) are eligible to compete for BERI added money in BERI approved futurities. - ALL offspring of nominated breeder stallions are eligible to compete regardless of the breeder on the papers, the stallion must be enrolled in the program.
Canadian Barrel Horse Incentive CBHI is a program designed by barrel horse breeders... stallion owners nominate their stallions and you - the owner of the offspring of these stallions - are eligible to run for extra money at various approved venues around Canada.
How Do I Enroll My Foal and how much does it cost? - There is no enrollment fee for any offspring, you just proof (registration paper) that your horse is sired by a CBHI nominated stallion. - Horses that are CBHI eligible can compete at any CBHI sanctioned event. Sale Terms & Conditions 1. The Auctioneer will sell each horse to the highest bidder and will settle any disputes, his decision will be final.
2. Terms of the sale are cash, approved cheques or E-Transfers. Personal cheques will be considered cash when accompanied by proper identification. We also accept EFTs, please contact Lorette (306) 2407786 to make arrangements. Payment must be made before horses are released. 3. Cheques will be made out to Northern Lights Breeders Group Inc. 5% GST will be charged.
4. Registration papers will be mailed out after cheques have cleared. Buyers will pay the transfer fees. 5. All sellers will provide a halter and lead rope with each horse. All horses are halter broke.
6. Every effort has been made to insure correctness of pedigree names, numbers and official records. Any known corrections will be made at sale time. Announcements from the auction stand will take precedence over printed matter in the catalog.
7. Owners warrant each horse to be sound with the exception of obscure blemishes or defects. Any condition to the contrary will be announced. 8. Sale personnel and auctioneer do not act as agents for or represent either buyer or seller, but merely provide a medium for bringing together buyer and seller for the purpose of sales transactions. 9. A Brand Inspector will be at the sale to assist buyers with rapid departures of their purchases.
10. Every effort has been made to secure sound horses. Buyers are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED and have the RESPONSIBILITY to examine horses before bidding. THERE ARE NO FURTHER GUARANTEES! 11. Horses become the buyers risk and responsibility after they are sold.
12. Buyers unable to attend the sale may bid by phone with payment arrangements made prior to the day of the sale. 13. TO LEAVE THE GROUNDS, EACH HORSE MUST HAVE A BRAND INSPECTION & A BILL OF SALE FROM THE SALES CLERK OFFICE. 14. Horses will NOT be sold in catalog order. Please bring your catalog to the sale – Limited supply. 15. All horses must be removed from the Lloydminster Exhibition Grounds by Saturday evening.
