Terms

Cash or cheque payable on sale day. Cattle will not be released until settlement with the sales clerk has been made.

Viewing the Bulls

The sale bulls as well as our females are available for viewing at the ranch anytime.

Absentee Buying

If you are unable to make it to our sale, please call any sale day contact above and we will happily help you acquire a bull.

Video Sale

Please arrive early to view the bulls thoroughly in the pens as this will be a video sale and the bulls will not be coming through the sale ring. DLMS will broadcast the sale online for your viewing and bidding convenience.

Semen Tests

All bulls will have passed a semen test prior to delivery.

Delivery

Free delivery up to 300 kms. Beyond 300 kms will be at a cost. We agree to supply free board for a reasonable amount of time, however, we assume no responsibility for any bulls left here without insurance.

Please join us for coffee & donuts & viewing of the bulls sale morning

Lunch starts at noon

Sales by a single owner of 3 or more bulls will receive a 5% discount.

Right to Draw Semen

McCaffrey Cattle Co. reserves the right to draw semen on any bulls selling. This will be for in-herd use only at our expense and the buyer’s convenience.

Insurance

We encourage you to insure your purchase. Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser on sale day. Insurance will be available through Revise Insurance.

Bull Warranty

We guarantee each buyer a sound, fertile bull capable of servicing a reasonable number of cows. We are not responsible for injury or mismanagement and will not provide replacement in those instances, however, in the event that that your bull is not a satisfactory breeder, we will work to provide you with a solution.

Welcome to our bull sale!

As you may have heard, McCaffrey Cattle Co. is the proud new owner of the entire CSS Charolais herd, including four powerhouse walking bulls who have sired the amazing bulls highlighted in this catalogue.

If you know CSS Charolais, then you know they have a long history of producing high quality performance bulls. Over the past few months, calving season has been in full swing and we are seeing frsthand just how incredibly maternal these heifers and cows are, and it’s been so rewarding to see the calves they are producing and raising so well.

We want to thank Cameron and Betty Ann Stewart for entrusting us with their legacy. We are excited for this opportunity and will continue to produce high quality bulls for our customers and theirs alike.

There will also be a few of our home-raised bulls available. We are so happy with them and we know they will make an excellent addition to anyone’s operation.

We invite you to come view these great bulls for yourself. Drop by anytime beforehand and join us here at the ranch on sale day. If you’re unable to come for a visit, please don’t hesitate to give us a call with any questions.

And it’s because of this that we strive to raise bulls that will excel in any commercial cattlemen’s operation, from cow-calf producers to the feedlot. We aim to raise genetics that increase your profts the longer you own your calves; from weaning, to backgrounding, to fnishing. Our females are what keep us in the business, so maternal traits are a top priority when selecting our genetics.
