We are ecstatic to be hosting this event at the brand new facility, The Pointe in Sherwood Park, a venue praised for its state of the art facilities. Our team is thrilled to be undertaking this sale for a second year, which boasts a handful of carefully selected and presented horses for your consideration. Maple Classic Equine Sale was born out of a passion and a commitment to serving the equine community across North America, with the founders having a lifelong involvement within multiple aspects of the industry, including breeding, consignment, training and showing. It has never been harder to buy or sell a horse in today's market of digital advertising and online auctions, so an idea was presented to provide people with a safe, reliable platform to do so. Through our process of extensive PPE, professional imagery, thoughtful selection and presentation, you can feel assured that your sale/purchase will be made in the utmost confidence. We have taken the time to offer YOU what we consider to be a fantastic range of horses, as well as a performance by the Strathcona Mounted Troops, and a small market to boot! Buyer responsibilities Buyers and spectators are advised to exercise caution on the sale grounds, especially during horse demonstrations. Any person registering is responsible for and liable for their bidding card Buyers are responsible for examining horses carefully before bidding (e.g., conformation faults, defects, size, riding ability). Buyers assume all expenses and risks on horses after purchase. Purchased horses will not be transferred until full payment has been made to Maple Classic Equine Sale Inc. The correct manifest, including brand information or ‘no brand’, must be completed upon pickup of the horse. Maple Classic Equine Sale Inc does not assume responsibility for potential buyers visiting consignors’ properties. Proper brand inspection paperwork must be completed before removing horses from the sale site. PPE results available upon request free of charge. X-rays available upon request for a $10 fee per lot. Terms of sale are cash, bank draft, credit card (additional fees of up to 8% may apply), E-transfer or wire transfer for Canadian residents. US residents are limited to wire transfer, cash (Canadian funds), credit card (additional fees of up to 8% may apply). Should the buyer fail to comply in any respect with all conditions above, the Sale Management may, at its discretion, pursue any remedy available against the defaulting buyer, including, but not limited to, taking possession of the horse(s) and resale of the horse(s) at public auction or by private treaty for account of the defaulter. In such a case, the defaulter shall be liable for any deficit in the account after payment of all costs of maintenance and resale, attorney fees, costs of litigation, and damages available to seller by law.
Bidding Rules The sale management, auctioneers, and employees act as agents for the seller but assume no liability for either the buyer or the seller. All responsibility and guarantees are between the buyer and seller. The highest bidder will be the buyer if the reserve is met or exceeded. Bids must be made in good faith, with buyers assuming full responsibility for payment. In case of a dispute, the horse will be re-auctioned. The Sale Committee reserve the right to reject any or all bids. Purchased horses and papers will not change hands until full payment has been received. GST applies to all purchases.

2025 Bay Canadian Warmblood Colt Registry: CWHBA Height: EMH 16hh+ Spicy Jalepeño (Pepper) is a May 5/25 colt. He is registered as a CWHBA but sire is an ISH so has the Irish attitude. His retained full sister, is currently over 16hh at 4 yo and still growing. Pepper is a real sweetie, reminiscent of the Irish Draught breed . Peppers grand-sire, Jaunty Star, was born in the UK and imported to Canada, where he currently stands in Alberta. His award of the silver merit is a truly exceptional achievement, as very few Irish Draughts have been awarded this honour. He competed at C1C1* in 2010. His dam, Pomergranate, is a registered CWHBA mare. She was sired by Portland L, who is most famous for becoming a prominent 1.45m jumper in Europe and North America. The Westphalian stallion is known for passing his exceptional temperament and rideability, making many of his offspring amateur friendly. He adds exceptional jumping power to the upper levels, making this cross one to be watched for those in eventing programs. RSH Aurora, known as Lottie in the barn, is a very well put together CSHA mare, with a fantastic mind and promising future in the jumper ring, standing a well-balanced 16.2HH. Lottie is exceptionally easy to have around with impeccable ground manners. She stands quietly for the farrier, can go barefoot or shod, and is equally happy in a stall or turned out with her friends. She is not herd-bound and is wonderfully quiet and sensible on the road and at new locations, making her a pleasure to take to shows. She loads in the trailer without hesitation. Lottie has just finished her first show season in the jumper ring at RMSJ this year. She competed up to 0.85m and is schooling 1m at home with scope for higher. She was a dream to take out, relaxed and nothing really seemed to face her. She is not spooky and very brave to the jump. She is a forward ride and likes speed, but is safe without any funny business. Lottie loves to jump, she would be suitable for an amateur on the flat and once she has more experience and time over jumps, she will make an amazing amateur mount in the jumper ring as well. This mare is very willing and tries hard for her rider. She knows how to collect, has a steady walk, trot and canter. Lottie is responsive of the riders leg, with leg yields, travers, shoulder-in and has flying lead changes.

Teddy has had extensive professional dressage and jumper training. He has been to shows in both disciplines and done very well. Teddy has a fantastic work ethic. Auto changes and a very good jump! He has attended several dressage shows and jumping shows in his younger years, and more recently this year has jump schooled off property, and attended a jumping schooling show. He is always smart and sensible, easy to take around. He can easily make the “big horse” strides and can really “turn and burn” in a jump off!!! Teddy can very comfortably jump 1.10 m. He has competed up to 1.10 m and has even cleared an impressive 1.40 m in a high-jump competition. Gummy loves speed and is at his best in the 0.90–1.00 m classes, where his competitive nature and love of the jump-off make him an incredibly tough competitor. He has hauled to many different venues, jumping in both sand and grass rings, and has consistently brought home red ribbons. Gummybear isn't just a show-jumping horse! He also loves cross-country and has been successfully ridden and competed by amateur riders. With years of professional training, he has all the fancy buttons and is a true all-around athlete. He will also shine in the dressage ring with leg yields, half-passes, shoulder-in, travers, flying lead changes, spectacular lengthened strides, and a very consistent head carriage. He is only for sale because his current owner simply doesn't have enough time to ride him. Gummy likes to work and isn't content sitting in the field. He wants a job, attention, and a little person to spoil him! Gummy has fantastic ground manners, is up to date on teeth, deworming, shots and farrier. He loads super easy and stands well for the farrier. Take Gummy down the road and he'll happily go for a ride on his own or in a group, but he is not a trail-riding horse. He gets bored without a job, this guy wants to work! Meet Fox Fernando, a very special 2023, chestnut, Andalusian pony x gelding. Fox is a very athletic, gentle and motivated young horse. He has trust in people and wants to please; he does anything you ask him to. He loves any attention and working. Great groundwork done, he single- and cross ties, fly mask, blanket, tack, no problem. Stands nicely for the farrier, loads beautifully and is not bothered by dogs or kids running around. He is good in a herd, absolutely no aggression. In June this year he got started under saddle and after 60 days under saddle he shows beautiful canter work with natural flying lead changes and diagonal work. Very smooth to sit and lots of go in him. We see him thriving in Working Equitation, Dressage or Show jumping. Suitable for an advanced youth rider or a smaller adult. Stella is a lovely, well-started mare with the kind, willing mind everyone is looking for. Easygoing, soft and responsive, she is a pleasure to ride and has the temperament to develop into a fantastic amateur mount with continued training and experience. Although still in full training, Stella has already begun carrying amateur riders in our lesson program and has handled the experience very well. She is comfortable in a busy environment and is proving to be a dependable young mare. Under saddle, Stella has started learning to collect and has been introduced to lateral work including travers, shoulder-in and leg yield. She is soft and responsive to her aids and eager to learn. Stella has also been started over fences and is brave and willing to the jump. She shows plenty of promise as a future jumper, while her movement and trainability could also make her a lovely prospect for dressage or eventing. Currently standing 14.1hh with room to grow, Flash emanates all of the qualities you search for in a finished young horse. He is first to the gate, super easy to catch, a big teddy bear if you will. He is progressing well in the arena, demonstrating a solid W/T/C with collected and extended movements in trot and canter. He poises himself with excellent rhythm, balance and softness, offering flying lead changes and smooth lateral movements, including sidepass, leg yield, soft lateral bending and a clean stop.

He recently placed 1st in a low-level jumping show, and attended the Wild Rose Welsh Show. He is currently schooling 2ft and has attended cross country schooling where he showed an excellent attitude. Foot-sure, Flash cruised the mountains for 1 week this summer, and thrived in the adverse and challenging surroundings, further demonstrating his relaxed demeanour.
Easy to do in all ways, he is great to catch, load, trim, shoe, spray, wash and clip. He will tie all day long.
Flash could easily be an intermediate youth mount in a program, though does appreciate the competency of his rider, so would therefore not be recommended as a beginner horse at this time, however, with more exposure this could definitely become a path for him. He really does trust and follow his leader, showing his honesty and willingness to learn and please.
