Welcome to the M&J Farms and Glasman Farms Bull Sale. The Glasman family represent a true multi-generation purebred breeding operation with a long and storied history in the cattle business. Their roots run deep, built on decades of dedication to producing functional, high-quality cattle. This sale is somewhat unique in today’s industry, offering only two-year-old bulls that are bred and raised specifically to be marketed as two-year-olds. These bulls are born on grass and developed on grass, a program designed to prioritize longevity, structural soundness, and real-world performance in commercial environments. No bulls are ever sold as yearlings; this is the cream of the crop.
Jared leads the M&J Farms division, presenting the strongest and most uniform set of Red and Black Simmental and SimAngus bulls the program has ever assembled. These bulls reflect years of disciplined selection, focusing on consistency, performance, and durability.
Matthew continues the family tradition with a select group of Simmental-influenced bulls, while his Angus division takes center stage in the Glasman Farms offering. These Angus bulls have been extremely well received by both purebred and commercial cattlemen, earning a reputation for quality, functionality, and value.

We are happy to host our American friends and have many repeat customers from across the border. All bulls are guaranteed exportable to the USA and we will attend to and assist with all necessary health testing, vet examinations, paperwork and permits to export your bull(s) across the USA border. A fee of $500/bull will be applied at time of settlement. Any questions at all, please ask!
Option A: Pick up your bull before March 1, 2026 and receive $250 discount/ bull.
Option B: Bulls will be delivered free of charge within the first 500kms. Depending on the delivery route, we may not be able to deliver directly to your ranch, but to a central location close to you. We will assist with arrangements to all other destinations. Delivery will begin as soon as possible after the sale at the sellers’ convenience. Any bulls staying at M&J/Glasman Farms MUST be insured. We ask that all bulls are picked up or delivered by April 30, 2026.
We invite everyone to come through and tour the bulls ahead of the sale but also understand that getting away is not always easy. There will be videos online of all the bulls for you to view and we are just a phone call away. We offer one of the best sight unseen programs in the business, with personalized service that is tailored to meet your bull buying needs. Welcome! This business is as much to do with the people as it is the cattle, so we’d like to start by saying THANK YOU to our customers, friends and family for supporting our program. Whether you like or share a social media post, are a bidder or buyer, an extra body at processing times or kid watcher, we couldn’t do any of this without you!
Last year in our welcome letter, I was talking about cattle cycles and the future of the cattle markets. Fast forward a year and how exciting it is to be part of these high cattle markets! As I said previously, Grandpa Marshall was right when he told me “these are the good old days!” Like most cattle producers, I am cautiously optimistic, but I think 2026 has the potential to be one of the greatest years in the cattle business yet. Now as much as ever a good herdbull will pay you dividends come sale time. When investing in our own herdbulls over the years we have learned that whenever possible “buy the bull you want” and “buy them when you find them!”
The bulls came home from pasture late December and were still transitioning onto new feed around picture time. Between then and now they have continued to change and excel and I can confidently say that the bulls are better in person than their pictures show. Please accept this as your invitation to stop by the farm to view the bulls for yourself and let them do the talking. HERD BULL ALERT!! Our most anticipated bull to sell! Flawless in his structure and phenotype he represents everything we strive to produce! His dam by Bank Note has been a stand out since the start. So much so that we showed her successfully as a calf in the fall of 2017. This bull has the look, performance, and presence we all look for!

SALE FEATURE! “Texas” as we call him now as the great state is on his face! You can’t help but to stop and stare at this great black white face half blood’s structure and phenotype that make him a crowd favourite! Backed by our double bred Tibbie 93U female, who is also the dam of the herd sire, MLG Essential, this bull will have a lasting impact on any herd with maternal traits and proven production on top and bottom of his pedigree.
We bought this bull’s sire to use on some of our most proven Angus females to create our own half blood Simmental females that we could breed up to purebreds. In the process, we have obviously created some outstanding half blood bulls. These Simm-Angus bulls truly blend the best of both worlds. This light birthweight black white face bull will definitely be an asset to anyone’s herd bull battery. His dam, MLG Blackbird 18Z, has raised some of the best bulls and easily the most productive females we have ever had. She is still in the herd at 14 years of age.
This 1/2 blood bull needs to be seen in person. He is stout like a box car and long as a freight train. His Final Product dam is oh so feminine and backed by the SAV Emblynette cow family. She would be one of the longest wedge-shaped, square hipped, near perfect uddered cows on the farm. If you need to add some frame and length of body with the ability to improve udder quality, here’s your bull.
This half blood has character to burn! He has always had a great look to him: amazing muscle shape, length of body and how he ties high out of the top of his shoulders into his masculine neck and head. His dam is another hard working Tibbie with Angus bulls that have worked great in our herd: Alcatraz, Bond, and Density in the pedigree. We just love our SimmAngus cattle around here.

The youngest bull in our offering and maybe my favourite in structure and design. It is hard to fault this attractive son of Huntly. These half bloods take the best from each breed with a hybrid vigour that creates a product we all want. His wedge shaped, deep bodied dam, MLG Blackbird 57F, is one of my favourite Repeat daughters and is a direct daughter of Blackbird 10Z. She raised a personal favourite Lancaster son in our 2023 bull sale.
Our only red and purebred Simmental bull in the sale. His sire, Oakview Huntly, is an SVS Betts son that has four proven donors in his initial upfront pedigree. He stems back to the great KOP Bengie 6P that has raised many proven herd sires such as Sunville Driller, KOP Crosby 137W, and many more. We have been blessed with many Huntly daughters and are impressed with their looks and production. We purchased his High Roller dam from Amy Bonchuk and just love what she has done here. She had ideal structure, body type and a flawless udder. Her calves had consistently light birthweight that didn’t sacrifice growth. All her bulls made the sale and her daughters might be the best part. We have two full sisters to this bull and they are amazing.
Pen favourite by visitors! Performance headliner and genetic masterpiece with unparalleled depth of rib and herd bull character. We purchased his dam from good friends at J Square S. The Ruth Cow family has done extremely well for
Creek, Northern View and J Square S. This bull just keeps getting better.
This Ignition bull’s pedigree is stacked with some of the most popular Angus genetics like Renovation, the Isabel Y69 female, Density, Free Wheeler, Final Answer, and BC Lookout. The dam, Blackbird Scarlet, is very feminine and level uddered with small teat size and great production. She stems back to the same cow family that produced Soo Line Prophecy.

The Ignition bulls are definitely the right type and kind. They are easy doing, performance orientated and have unprecedented length and growth characteristics. I believe he will sire you calves with lots of vigour, growth and high potential to leave front pasture replacement females. His Bank Note dam has an excellent udder and production record putting a little more frame and punch into her offspring.

I believe this Ignition son will consistently add length, frame and pounds to his calf crop. His long bodied, feminine dam, MLG Effie 23F by Silver Lining raises one of the biggest calves every year. His granddam was bought from the great Soo Line dispersal and was very productive for us raising many sale bulls and productive females.
The dam of this bull, Erica 74A, may be one of the most recognizable and promoted Angus females in the business. I’m sure glad we said yes when good friend, Jordan Sies, asked us years ago to partner on a flush. As we had just got in on the amazing $200,000 1/2 interest Alcatraz 60F syndicate he was our sire selection. We only got sons with our half of the embryos and MLG 54M will be the last animal to sell out of that flush. This bull is extremely cool made with extreme base width, hair and rib shape. We sold a full brother to Anderson Cattle Company of Swan River and were lucky enough to use him on our heifers that year. He calved extremely well for us and Andersons. Here’s a bull that caught my eye right from a calf! Hairy, stout, big middled and with that attractive herd bull character we all look for he checks a lot of boxes. His dam was our highest performing and favourite Silver Lining heifer calf of her calf crop. Her granddam by Authority raised one of our feature Bank Notes we had shown. And her great granddam is back to our foundation, MVF Tibbie 283W. This bull is better than his picture.

A Marvel out of a first calf Mindbender heifer. Our Marvel calves came easy and grew fast. Marvel is a large frame Showman son that now resides at Strongbow Angus. His Mindbender dam is one of our favourite females to look at: super soft made and feminine with loads of power.

This bull’s sire was bought as an embryo the very first year Hamiltons and Six Mile had bought Showman not knowing how much excitement would follow. The following winter semen brought $1800/straw. Calves came easy and grew fast. His full brothers at Hamiltons and Rio Grande averaged over $25,000. This bulls dam is our foundation wrapped up in one package: Authority, Pioneer, Kodiak, and back to our Freedom sired Blackbird 172T. This bull covers all the bases!
A Mindbender out of a first calf Lancaster backed by the Blackbird cow family. She may have been my favourite bred heifer that year! A lot of positives to this bull: shape, balance, attractive skull, and the pedigree to go with it.
MLG Mindbender 63M may be one of the most moderate bulls in the sale, but he is also definitely one of the stoutest. This meat machine will make quality replacement females with a lasting influence. His attractive dam by Barricade is a daughter by one of our most prolific females, MLG Blackbird 10Z, who is the dam of Optimus Prime, Momentous, Barricade, and many other proven herd bulls and up-and-coming females.
A Mindbender out of our favourite Density cow with great genetic potential. After looking back in my notes, this calf was orphaned through parent mixup. I would imagine if his amazing Blackbird mother raised him to weaning he may have been a feature.

This freight train may be the longest bull in the offering! If I could, I would stouten him up a bit more, but if you need to add length, this would be the bull to do it. His Bank Note dam was purchased from the great Springcreek Simmental and Angus dispersal. She had produced three lead off bulls and her first calf for us was a sale feature in last year’s sale.

This bull was a favourite at weaning time and is backed by maternal strength on top and bottom side of his pedigree. His Lancaster dam types to her sire group we love so much. They are feminine, moderate tanks with tidy udders. She stems from the great Annie K cow family and her dam was bought from Brooking Angus and is a full sister to Brooking Trend Spotter.
Here’s an Essential son who checks a lot of boxes. He will sire calves with lots of growth, vigour, and high probability of being the front pasture replacement females we are all looking for. His excellent uddered, attractive Rocco dam was purchased from Sarah Buchanon. These Renovation sons over the years have been like peas in a pod- massive volume, great temperament, and large scrotalled. His productive dam is also the dam of MLG Authoritative 8024, a herd bull for LK Ranch who has consistently sired top quality seed stock for their operation including two of the champion pen of three bulls at Agribition in 2022. This bull is sure to consistently add length and depth of body with strong maternal traits.
This moderate framed South Point son has the credentials to make him an excellent calving ease bull. His dam who resides at Sorrell‘s stems back to some major performance cows here. Long framed, big bodied cows with the ability to milk and wean off big calves. Stacked pedigree with the early greats of our program Earnhardt, Authority, and Pioneer!
The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance, unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds.
Payment Options
Payment in full sale day will be the norm. If special arrangements are needed please discuss with Miles Glasman (M&J Farms) and/or Matthew Glasman (Glasman Farms) prior to the sale.
All bulls staying at M&J Farms/Glasman Farms MUST be insured. We strongly recommend that insurance is purchased for full value. Your purchased animal is your sole responsibility as soon as the sale concludes.
Delivery
Every assistance will be given to get your purchases home. Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold.
Breeder’s Guarantee
All bulls will be semen tested prior to the sale. The bulls sold are sold with a breeder’s guarantee. If problems arise please notify M&J Farms/Glasman Farms immediately so the replacement or credit towards another bull can be dealt with in a timely fashion, At no time will M&J Farms/Glasman Farms be responsible for more than the purchase price.
Pedigree Estimates (PE)
Pedigree Estimates (PE) are created on the projected mating of the animal’s sire and dam based on averages of the two, creating estimated values that do not hold the same accuracy of actual EPDs issued from the association and should be used as such.
All announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay close attention to such disclosures.
Exception Guarantee
In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, this guarantee shall be null and void.
All persons attend the sale at their own risk. The seller, facility owner and sale manager assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents that occur. It is understood that T Bar C Cattle Co. (2013) Ltd. is acting only as a medium between buyer and seller and is not responsible for any failure on the part of either party to live up to his obligations. Neither does T Bar C Cattle Co. (2013) Ltd. assume any financial obligations to collect or enforce collection of any monies between parties and any legal action that may in exceptional cases be taken must be between the buyer and the seller. T Bar C Cattle Co. (2013) Ltd. assumes no responsibility for any credit extended by the seller to the buyer.
