What an exciting time to be the cattle business with record breaking prices across the board. We applaud all of those people “in the trenches” in this industry who have endured the BSE years, droughts, blizzards, rising inflation etc. to savor their rewards. We also wish to thank and appreciate everyone who has supported

our program over the years, behind the scenes and sale day. We continue to strive to put forth a valuable commodity of genetics that will work for you as they do for us.

We raise the cattle on nature pasture without creep, cull vigorously for calving ease, performance, maternal strength, structural soundness, and eye appeal. The bulls are wintered on a forage ration consisting of silage, chopped hay, rolled oats and a custom formulated bull supplement to ensure longevity and expression of growth. The bulls are ready and eager to cover some ground and cover some cows. By sale day they will have received Fusogard vaccine for footrot and passed a semen test, no deferred bulls offered. Scrotal measurements and updated weights will be available closer to sale day. There are a good selection of performance herd sires or some calving ease options for the heifers, all fully backed to your satisfaction. The open heifers are representative of our cowherd, with tried and true pedigrees that work in the real world. Commercial heifers are home raised or selected from Ric & Linda Arthurs, all wintered together and will be palpated to ensure breeding soundness.

Once again, we are having a video sale at the farm, bulls will be displayed outside the sale barn. If you choose to take your purchases home sale day or within a week of the sale, receive $100 per lot off purchase price. Delivery can be arranged and will commence 2 weeks after the sale so please leave complete instructions at the settle up desk at the conclusion of the sale.

From a modest 68 lb. birth weight to explosive growth, he indexed 107 at weaning and 114 yearling, truly outstanding for a first time mom. EPD’s favorable on all accounts to match his phenotype.
