WILLOW CREEKsimmentals welcome

Welcome to the 4th annual Ladies of the Peace female sale. We are extremely excited to be once again joined by such a great group of fellow contributors. This year has been one for the record books for the cattle industry with the record setting prices we have seen across all aspects of the industry. This has certainly put a lot of enthusiasm into the cattle producers which has definitely been long over due.

We are very excited about years offering for LOP. We have dug deep into the replacement pens and offered a group of females that will be very functional and should prove to be very profitable for the new owners. The bred heifer portion of the offering is deep in quality with females that exemplify structural integrity, excellent feet and are looking to be setting down great udders. They are backed by proven, hard working cow family’s that are the backbone of our program. They are all bred up for mid January calving to two of the best calving ease sires in the industry in Top Tier and Southside. In the open heifer calves we held nothing back in the offering as we feature for the first time, daughters of the $47,500 NUG Dunlop sire, which truly are sale features that would certainly stand in with any open heifers in any sale. For the first time ever we are offering daughters out of two of our main donor cows in the Pashmenia 167C cow and the Lady 37B angus donor we have. These are highly respected cow family’s in there respective breeds and true highlights in the offering. We round out the offering with a few more heifers by our walking herdsire RWR Elite and Walking Tall, a past high seller for us that is really making his mark in his first calf crop here. These heifers are structurally sound, fancy made and powerful in there make up, all right off the top of the keeper pen. Again this year we will have a few groups of commercial heifer calves sired by Popeye and Elite that are very functional and sound heifer calves that are backed by some of our top commercial cows and will be excellent producers for the new owners.

Its an exciting time to be in the cattle industry and we invite you up to the Peace Country for an exciting female sale weekend that features the Ladies of the Peace sale on Friday and the KSL production sale on Saturday. There has never before been a weekend filled with sales like this in the Peace Country and we invite you up to part-take in the events and hospitality that the weekend presents.

DILUTER FREE/HETERO POLLED Dunlop strikes again. There has been a good buzz around the industry over Dunlop and rightfully so. He consistently has added muscle shape, structural integrity, a proud attractive look, dark red color, and add that to his fresh outcross pedigree. We feel Dunlop’s legacy is only just beginning, and he will make his mark on the breed. Tia 21N patterns her paternal sister really well in terms of attractiveness, muscle shape, udder design and the cherry red color. I would argue 21N is a little softer middled but not as long. It is very interesting to sort the two as almost every visitor picks a different heifer. As you can see by her inset picture her mother is a very good Red Whiskey daughter that is awesome footed, impeccable uddered, big bodied and the type we really just strive for. We wanted to make a splash for the LOP sale with Dunlop’s first calf crop and really feel we have with this pair of sisters really does that.

HOMO POLLED/ DILUTER FREE

What a way to kick off a calf crop from a new herdsire! In the spring of 2024 we set out to find a new red bull, we found a few that checked all the boxes and Dunlop 11L was certainly one that stood out. He has absolutely knocked it out of the park on his first calf crop, they might be the most consistent quality group we have had from a sire across the board. This spring we said to keep up on the Dunlop hype we would sell the best daughter no matter what, well here she is. An absolute favorite at every stage of life, and backed by one of our favorite cows (as you can see by her picture). Squeak 26N herself is a very attractive baldy heifer that commands the attention of everyone that has seen her. Elegant through her front but still broody enough, extremely long made yet she is stout and structurally as sound as you can make one. We have showed her a few times this summer where she has went undefeated in her age group. She is entered in Farmfair which we are excited to showcase her. She is as exciting of a female as we have offered up in a long time and one we feel is certainly worth the trip north to see.

HOMO POLLED

This spring we had a very successful flush from the legend himself Captain Morgan and our top donor Pashmenia 167C. The flush seen 3 impressive bulls, and 5 heifer calves that have us very excited. We wanted to offer one as a sale feature for LOP as this will be the very first daughter we have let go off of Pashmenia 167C. I think the dark red daughter proves why we think so highly of 167C as she is broody made, soft middled, really stout made and structurally sound. These are the type of females that produce them big sale feature bulls. The production record on 167C has been unparrelled in the Peace Country as her 5 bulls sold to date through our bull sale have averaged $14,000 and i certainly see that increasing with her 4 bulls to sell next spring. A full brother to this heifer was a high seller at $14,500 last spring to our good friends at Haywire Farms. When you have a chance to tie into a cow family that’s this good, you have to take advantage.

HEIFER CALF
Willow Creek Simmentals

A personal favorite in this sale group. You really have to appreciate the frame, length and sogginess she display’s to go along with and extended front end and she really ties it all together very nicely. When we purchased her sire from Red Willow Ranch, Josh told us to keep every female. Evidently we did not listen, but it is easy to say why he said that when we have a pen full of sisters patterned just like her. I think 77N would rank as the top Elite daughter we have produced to this point. The ‘Ms Power” cow family has been an exceptionally producing cow family and you will note this just by our offering this year as we have 3 females selling off of 2 different full sisters. The flush of the original 631A to structure really worked well for us. The very first LOP featured a fancy black baldy heifer that lead off and topped the heifer calves going to Circle G Farms. The next year we sold another full sister to DAM Livestock. We retained two daughters as well that feature these daughters in the sale. The dam to 77N is quickly becoming a favorite young black cow for us. There is a very bright future for this heifer that i think could be on the show road, as well as in the cow herd. Shes got that momma cow look.

It doesn’t take long for this fancy black baldy to catch the attention of visitors. This Elite x Structure mating seems to add a little more frame and stretch while still maintaining the body capacity. As mentioned before this Ms Power cow family just really works, they are cattle that maintain structural integrity, high production, excellent tempered and excellent feet. It was very easy to get 75N halter broke and her calm demeanor would certainly make her a strong case to be a junior project.

HOMO POLLED BY PARENTAGE
HEIFER CALF

This is a heifer that will make a lot of friends sale day. We strive to make them like this, fancy fronted, super stout topped, big barreled, soft made and has an unreal amount of hair. She truly is the one female in the offering that would be the most competitive on the show road weather it be jackpot showing next spring or setting out later on a as bred heifer. It was a month later then the rest that she come home from pasture as we had zero intentions to sell her as we have yet to keep a daughter from this cow. Her heifer calf last year was part of the leadoff choice lot to Nevaeh Dyck to be a junior show heifer, but with us remaining committed to sell the best she is here and ready to impress. I have always said that i could argue that her dam has the best udder in our entire herd. Don’t miss this opportunity, she’s definitely a cool one.

We really wanted to put a feature in the angus division and we feel this daughter of our Lady 37B donor does just that. We flushed her to the impressive Shaw’s Caldwell bull that Belvin brought up from the states and so far to date this mating has exceeded all expectations. 3 heifers and a bull were born and all of them are high quality. Lady 356N rose to the top at an early age and she continues to impress. Added size, body capacity and an attractive look really standout when you get to analyze her. She has a really gentle nature as we have showed her all summer. This cow family has been a major feature for many years at Poplar Meadows. We tried to buy a Lady daughter for a few years and could never afford one, so when they had there reduction sale we made sure to get one bought. Lady 37B was our pick and has been worth every dollar. Lady 37B is impressive to see in person as she has so much power and dimension, structurally correct, attractive made and impeccable udder quality. Lady 356N is royally bred being backed by one of the best cow family’s in the nation and i think this is a heifer with some donor potential.

HEIFER
Willow Creek Simmentals

Chiclet

This would probably be the biggest, stoutest, most powerful bred heifer in the offering and there is a lot to like about her. Added frame, stoutness, foot quality that comes in an attractive package. This is a Popeye x Lotto combination that has really knocked it out of the park time and time again, we have sold more high selling bulls through the Northern Classic the past 5 years from this combo then any other mating. 55M is backed by a very good looking Lotto cow that is easy to pick out in the herd. We are really starting to see some high end production from these Popeye daughters as they enter there prime. A Popeye x Lotto just weaned the heaviest bull in the pen at 1035lbs on September 1. Look for a quick ROI as she’s mated up for a mid January Southside calf. We have one Southside calf in the bull pen this year and we are very impressed.

AI BRED TO W2 SOUTHSIDE 2K ON APRIL 5, 2025(SAFE). Exposed Circle G Marquis 38M from April 10 to May 25.

I personally believe this will be the best cow in our entire bred heifer offering. We have a full sister that is our top Launch daughter from last year and raised a really good Dunlop bull on her first go. There dam is a powerful Liver red cow that is a farm favorite. Like both her sister and mother 70M has excellent foot structure, is setting down a near perfect udder, big framed and has an abundance of hair. the sole reason we purchased Launch was to produce females like this. With her being a younger aged heifer, i would anticipate that she only gets better as the fall goes on. She to is bred up to the cool black baldy calving ease sensation, W2 Southside. Wouldn’t a dark red baldy calf at side of her be pretty cool next summer!

BRED HEIFER

HOMO POLLED BY PARENTAGE

We wanted to feature an Elite bred this year and feel this fancy bred from the Lisa cow family really shows off the Elite sire group. 61M is a moderate made, big bodied heifer that will be an impactful producer for her new owner. I cant stress enough the quality of udder that she is setting down, it is as close to perfect in every way. Her mother is an awesome young black cow that we rank very high, i wish we had pictured her as it would show how good she really is. Proclamation has left us with some very good daughters which continually produce top end progeny. This Lisa cow family has been very good for us and 61M will certainly carry the tradition on. If you are a numbers person, take a look at the EPD profile on 61M as she ranked above average in 9 of 13 categories. Her service to Southside will add some excitement and a potential black baldy calf would make for a quick ROI. Its always tough to let these ones go.

AI’D W2 SOUTHSIDE 2K APRIL 8 2025 (SAFE). Exposed Circle G Marquis 38M April 10 to May 25.

This is a female that i think can be used in a variety of different matings and succeed. The combination of calving ease and performance blended in a very smooth made, attractive package with improved foot and udder quality and backed by a really good cow family. You will see she is another from that MS Power cow family and her maternal sister being a feature in the heifer calf section. These are the first to calves by there dam and she is really climbing the ranks as a favorite young cow. Another cool mating to the popular Southside bull will only add to her value.

BRED HEIFER
BRED HEIFER

These powerful Red Whiskey females just don’t seem to ever go out of style. Dark red, long bodied, stout made, excellent footed, backed by a cow that we are very high on, and bred up to the baldy calving ease sensation, Top Tier are just a few of the noteworthy attributes that make this female an exciting lot in the sale. The dam of this heifer is a big framed, high capacity, very good uddered cow that is picked out by alot of people who tour. This is the type of female we have had great success in creating our cow herd and proud to offer. This powerhouse be an excellent producer for a lot of years for her new owner.

On offer this year are a Commercial pen of 3 breds, Commercial pen of 5 heifer calves and a Purebred open heifer. All cattle are under a full vaccination program. LOP 2025 is certainly an exciting day marked on Balisky Farms calendar. We hope to see you there!

BF MISS 2055N is out of MS R PLUS 2055K, Emma purchased from the 2022 R PLUS Dispersal. Excitement on the top side with this honest heifer as she’s sired by the powerful NUG Dunlop 11L, purchased from Maxwell Simmentals 2023 bull sale, co owned with our friends Willow Creek Simmentals. The lasting structural integrity and beautiful udder from the maternal end, paired with Dunlop’s performance and outcross breeding gives great opportunity on mating, future progeny and true production with this heifer. Adding to our portfolio of the Ladies of the Peace offering, take note of BF Miss 2055N.

ALBRECHT farms welcome

Welcome to the 4th annual Ladies of the Peace female sale. Take note of the new sale date as we have moved the sale up to Friday Nov 21st. We consignors are proud to present another exceptional group of females this year, building on the momentum and success of last year’s event. With cattle prices at an all-time high, it’s nice to see the cattle producers rewarded for all their hard work throughout the year.

Our Females have been selected right from the top of our replacement pen and showcase some of the best genetics in the breed. The females are on a full herd health program and will be vaccinated with Scour Guard prior to the sale. If you’re in the LaGlace area prior to sale day, stop by to view the heifers, bulls & their dams as we would be happy to take you for a tour of the cattle. We Invite you all to come view the heifers Thursday prior to the sale and hope you can stick around after the sale for socializing and refreshments. Look forward to seeing you on sale day!

HOMO POLLED/HETERO BLACK Here’s an outstanding female with a totally outcross pedigree. RST Faith is structurally sound, stands on an exceptional set of feet, and is backed by a cow that commands attention with her presence and consistently delivers top-quality calves year after year. RST 37F has cranked out some awesome bull calves for us over the years with her highlight being our 2024 high seller to Warkentin Farms. The sire, SAJ Hatchet 48J was a powerhouse we purchased from SAJ Simmentals, a bull we lost too early when you start to see the quality of females he produced. This will be a female I keep my eye on as she moves along in production, expecting big things from her! AI BRED TO W2 SOUTHSIDE 2K ON APRIL 5, 2025 (SAFE). Exposed to RST Slider 14M from April 15 to June 1. Vet ultra-sounded 65 days on June 11.

HOMO POLLED Here’s a natural calf off our 19A donor, this will be the last calf off this great cow and one that wasn’t supposed to leave the farm. For anyone that follows our program will know 19A was a bull producing machine for us, with this being only the third female she has produced either naturally or through our embryo program. The first two females cranked out our high selling bulls on their first try and I expect nothing different for RST Avery 41M. She is dark red, feminine through her front third and carries her dams strong foot qualities. With the production track record of this cow family and the early breeding to WBC Ease 6L, no doubt the ROI will be quick on this purchase.

RST 5M is the powerhouse of our offering. From the heart of our embryo program this heifer is backed by the RST 3E donor cow. This heifer is sure to follow in her dam’s footsteps—boasting near-flawless feet, ideal teat structure, and the proven ability to produce with consistency. When you factor in the maternal strength from her sire Spring Creek 56U, you have the makings of a genetic powerhouse. We have three full sisters at home, and they are shaping up to be special breeding pieces. This heifer has the ability to be bred both red and black, leaving lots of options for her new owner. FALLEN TIMBER farms welcome

Welcome to the 4th annual LOTP sale from FTF! We all know the industry is at an all time high and this makes us very excited to be contributing to this year’s sale along side other elite breeders from the Peace Country. As our family grows, so does our herd, so we are bringing a few less girls to town this year. Although our offering is a bit smaller this year, it is big on quality. We pride ourselves on producing ranch raised females, built in the North for the North, but versatile enough they will thrive under any conditions. Our offering this year hinges on our main walking sire, MRL Authenticator 16J. He has proven himself time and time again, and we feel the females on offer are some of his best to date. A new sale feature we are very impressed with, is a sweetheart open heifer off our new walking sire IPU 178J Top Tier 12L, so be sure to take a good long look. The open females were weaned mid-September and were pictured 21 days off grass with a 10lb/day oat-pellet ration hand feeding, in addition to TMR Oat/haylage mix, and are on a total herd health vaccination protocol with Express 5 VL5/Fermcon7 boosters applied in September, along with Lutalyse to ensure open verified. The bred’s are on an annual Spring Triangle 10/Ultrachoice 8 vaccination protocol, and are preg checked safe as per the footnotes. Our DNA results are pending at the time of this writing, so please watch for the sale supplement on Homo poll and dilution testing. Should you have any questions about our program or the females on offer please do not hesitate to contact us.

65L is a thick made moderate female off of an amazing red cow that is a treat to have in the herd. Miss Auth, is balanced front to back, and full of meat in all the right places, moving out effortlessly on a nice square foot. The Authenticator progeny have excellent leg set and foot shape, and the females in production in our herd have very nice udders. On the bottom side of this girl’s pedigree, there is an old legend in the calving ease department Rendezvous 244F. When it came to heifer bulls, he was an absolute dream, coupled up with our legend in the making, Authenticator in this pedigree, 65L should check the boxes.

FTF Miss Authenticator 66L

This big red girl is a real sweety! Broody, long, deep and full of capacity in all the right areas. This Authenticator female is bigger in make than the previous lot, and travels on a nice big square dark foot. On the bottom side of the pedigree 66L’s dam is a beauty liver red blaze female, who we sure do love in the herd. Service to FTF Louie 556L, an LFE NightHawk son, who is an impressive heifer bull with a very bright future based off his 1st calf crop.

EXPOSED TO FTF LOUIE 556L FROM MARCH 10 TO MAY 25, 2025. Bred safe for late January/Early February in the Vet’s opinion.

Sale feature right here. Lady May is packed full of performance and elegance, balanced in harmony, moving out on a big foot. Her IPU 178J Top Tier 12L walking sire has really impressed us in his first outing and this style of female seems to be his make. I really love the length of spine and spring of rib this girl has, as it is rare to get this much capacity in such a fancy made female. The background on the female side of the pedigree houses a real foundation blood line, going all the way back to our still in production matriarch, old FTF 4A. Buy with confidence on this girl, and take a long look sale day, as this one is very hard to part with.

BRED HEIFER

Deep dark red, with the sought after ‘Money Stripe’ blaze face, Monarch is as eye appealing as they come. Phenotypically this lady checks the boxes, with fantastic structure, excellent width across the pins, and ample spine and rib. Her colour obviously sets her apart, and she comes by it honestly, with her Patriot dam out of the Rendezvous program, really stamping the colour in her progeny to date. This old 314G dam, is the ‘never miss’ type, and the maternal is sure to be bred into Monarch. Another really excellent female right here that we strive to build, and are sure going to miss.

RAFTER SJ angus welcome

Years ago someone told me that those of us that could stick it out through those tough years in the cattle industry would eventually get paid for what we are doing and here we are!! Welcome to the 4th annual Ladies of the Peace Sale. We sure are proud to be part of this sale along with these other great Peace Country ranchers!

We sold 30 pair this spring and now have 130 head of registered Red (and a few black) Angus to calve this year. We have sourced and built up our registered herd from top production and dispersal sales and the prestigious Red Round-Up sales. We have a variety of genetics, to cover all of our customers needs; from moderate framed heifer bull makers to growthy scale benders, and always having great feet, udders and temperament top priority. We are confident in these 3 heifer calves, and the cows they will make for their new owners.

We are very passionate about our cattle and enjoy visiting old, new and potential customers. So if you have a question about our program or our heifers, give us a call or stop in for coffee and we can show you their dams and our herd bulls. Also; we sell our bulls off the place so stop in and see them as well.

RED RAFTER SJ MISS PATHY 66N is a dark cherry red, tanky, sweetheart of a heifer. Powerful yet feminine; she will make a productive cow! We purchased her dam at the 2019 Red Round-Up sale and she consistently gives us the good ones. She has superior feet, leg and udder structure. We acquired her sire from Diamond T as their lead off and high selling bull in their 2024 bull sale. They scored his feet having top score for claw set and hoof angle and he hasn’t disappointed!

Rafter SJ Joleen 19N

RED RAFTER SJ JOLEEN 19N has been a standout since she was born. She has a big thick middle and deep twist. She is very quiet and loves any attention you can give her. Her dam was purchased in the 2021 Red Round-Up sale. She is from the awesome “REBA” cow family, and, you can never have too much MOONSHINE! She has a big solid foot and a beautiful udder. Her sire is the amazing RED SIX MILE MOSSY OAK 175H!! It took us awhile to get some in our semen tank, and we love every one of his daughters and sons.

RED RAFTER SJ BARB 11N is a very dark red, long spined heifer with a smooth front end. Her dam is sired by our walking bull, GENESIS. With his phenotype and traditional Angus head, he is very handsome. Her dam is deep quartered and strong footed, and she did a great job on her first calf. We raised her sire after acquiring a couple RED TER-RON BAZINGA 13B straws at Red Round-Up, and he looks a lot like his sire.

LAZY B livestock welcome

We are grateful to be welcomed back for the 4th annual Ladies of the Peace Sale. We are once again excited to share some of our finest hand selected heifers that strongly represent our breeding program.

We raise our Angus cattle, keeping in mind ease of handling and safety without jeopardizing the fundamentals; structure, growth potential, calving ease and fertility. We believe our commitment to tie breaking and halter breaking our sale animals will benefit your operation by producing predictable and profitable cattle. We are very “hands on” with our animals by visually heat detecting and AI-ing without the aid of a sync program. At the end of May the tank is put away and the females are exposed to reputable, calving ease sires.

Our heifers on offer today are all registered and parent verified, aiding in docility within the herd environment. They have been groomed, fed with other livestock and are accustomed to people and dogs.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions about our program. We look forward to seeing you at the sale.

This is our first Red heifer consigned to the Ladies of the Peace Sale. She is a 6 Mile Full Throttle daughter. This red heifer is complete and it’s hard to find any structural flaws. She has a brood cow look to her, with a very nice top line. The deep cherry red makes her very appealing. Witzel is docile and was quite easy to halter break. Her udder is developing nicely and she’s sound on her feet. She’ll make a nice addition to any herd or a 4 H project.

Crystal is a daughter of SAV Jesse James. Known for his stellar phenotype, powerful performance, herd changing properties and breed impacting potential, he demonstrates power and structural balance. She is very clean fronted, fancy and a larger framed heifer. She also has great udder development. Looking up this sire’s pedigree you will find iconic legendary names, such as Renown, Renovation, Blackcap and Traveler. Crystal is a deep sided, smooth heifer with tonnes of volume that stands alert and proud. She will make a great addition to any herd.

Jesse’s Tilly is another daughter out of Jesse James. She stems from our Eileen cow family. Jessie’s grand dam was our first cow to make Elite/Premier Dam status with the Canadian Angus Association. She is smooth balanced, sure footed with great udder development. She is larger framed, soggy and deep through the flank. Her cow family has always been docile and very easy to manage and halter break. That cow family continues to make replacement heifers for us year after year, Jesse’s Tilly is no exception to this rule. 7G’s heifers seem to be the first ones chosen by buyers when they walk through the pen.

RING CREEKfarms welcome

On behalf of Ring Creek Farms we would like to welcome you to the 4th annual Ladies of the Peace female sale. It is a pleasure to again be working with this great group of consignors to bring forward a quality female offering from right here in the Peace country. 2025 has been marked by a year of extremes, with an exceptionally dry growing season for many of us in the Peace Region alongside a tremendously strong cattle market. The drought conditions we found ourselves in presented an opportunity to really showcase the cattle efficiency that we strive for in our herd. While pasture conditions remained challenging we continued to watch our functional females get out and work, both maintaining their own body condition and allowing their calves to grow well. These bred heifers on offer are no exception and will offer that same efficiency and ability to their new owners. These heifers come from female lines that continue to perform consistently, while promoting longevity and structural correctness, meaning these females will be raising calves for years to come. These heifers are hand fed from weaning and it shows in their docility and handling ease as we are out working with them daily. We love meeting new cattle men and women or reconnecting with old friends so please feel free to stop by for a visit prior to the sale to see the herd.

Look forward to seeing you all at the sale!

All come from long-standing, productive cows in our herd, with one exceptional first-calver in the mix. The sire power behind these calves speaks for itself. They are sired by Purebred Simmental and Angus bulls, including a couple of bulls we have come to love from the Albrecht program, as well as one of our own home-raised Angus bulls.

SIRES INCLUDE:

• RST Impact 32K – A bull that’s stamping calves with capacity, soundness, and performance.

These heifers were weaned on September 22, 2025, with an average weight of 716 lbs. They have been developed with longevity and maternal performance in mind they are sound, and ready to go to work.
