Kuntz/McIntosh/SAJ Retain the right to collect semen for in herd use on any bull in the sale at their expense and and the buyer’s convenience.
Welcome to the 27th annual, Kuntz McIntosh SAJ Simmental Bull Sale. What an incredible time to be a livestock producer. The cow/calf operator’s are finally seeing a premium for their hard work and dedication to an industry they love and it is truly rewarding to see and I do know we can speak for these 3 great operations when we say that seeing your success is their own personal greatest success. We are proud to stand beside these long standing breeding establishments in the promotion of their 2026 sale bulls, we think you will find it is a very uniform and diverse set and offers something for everyone, no matter what their needs are. We hope you take this as your personal invite to join us in the beautiful Lloydminster Exh Sales pavilion on Sunday, March 15th at 2pm.
The industry has spoken, and the Simmental influence is as prominent and popular as ever before in all aspects of the industry. Simmental sired steers are annually topping the pre sort sales and we have seen incredible prices for fancy Simmental open heifers (upwards of $7,000+ per head) and astonishing prices for Simmental bred heifers (upwards of $12,000 per head) the last 6 months and for good reason. The Simmental cow has been the focus of all 3 of these programs for decades as they have been built on a solid foundation of foot and udder quality, easy fleshing and eye appeal. This in turn has annually been the back bone of 27 successful bull sales where we see the fruits of these powerful cows behind the bulls labour via 75 of the stoutest Red, Black and Fullblood Simmental Bulls that will sell anywhere this year. The Kuntz, McIntosh and SAJ programs are all like minded in their breeding approach and pride themselves in sourcing the best genetics they can to advance their own programs to ultimately benefit their valued customers. They annually source some of the very best walking herd bulls and utilize industry leading ai sires in the operations and that has given you the opportunity to select and choose from many half and 3/4 and in many cases full brothers at this great event.
Be sure to make plans to be with us for an enjoyable Sunday afternoon sale in Lloydminster. The people and the programs that stand behind these bulls are some of the very best people to do business with in the entire industry. Give any of them a call to discuss the offering and please don’t hesitate to give out BMS team a shout to visit with you about the bulls on offer. We would be happy to help in any way. We hope to see you sale day.
Best regards, The Bohrson Marketing Team

NON DILUTER Here’s a pair of meat wagon embryo calves off Barbarian. 8N is maybe a touch longer spined and slightly smoother made where 3N is an absolute powerhouse. He has that extra style and herdbull presence to him that makes him standout. Both these bulls are stamped with the typical Barbarian hair coat along with that mellow, easy keeping nature.
Their mother is the exciting young Lady A 500L donor cow. I was quite excited about these embryos when I seen her as a yearling but she is even more impressive as a young cow. She has a powerful, expressive hip yet remains beautifully feminine and possesses a perfect udder. These are two highly maternal bulls that do not sacrifice any performance.

NON DILUTER If you like stout, high performing bulls that are soft made and easy doing, Nelson is a bull you’re gonna want to check out. This guy is dog quiet and has a hair coat thicker than a Husky. He is backed by one of our strongest cow families. Green Valley purchased a maternal sister who is doing and excellent job for them, raising a feature bull for their bull sale as well.

and we have begun flushing her this winter.

Northern has been a bull that’s been turning heads since he was born. He is a very complete bull with style to burn, his ideal color pattern and tremendous hair coat really make him stand out. The 715E cow has been a real work horse for us putting several strong sale bulls and there’s a couple good young daughters of her in the cow herd. Maxwell Simmentals purchased a maternal sister a few years ago at Border City and she has been doing a nice job for them.

Normandy is a very eye appealing bull who has extra length of spine. Just like his full brother from last year who sold to Lockhart Valley Simmental, Normandy is the top performing bull in the pen. Their mother is and ideal cow, feminine, perfect footed, soft made and has an exceptional udder. If you’re needing a bull to add pay weight without sacrificing maternal strength, here is one you’re going to want to check out.

Jurassic is a bull that I was quite excited for. He is a full brother to Kuntz Kingpin 2H, the powerhouse polled bull that Jeff Sorenson bought as our high seller a few years back. Jurassic may not have as much performance but has a more balanced and attractive look to him. 308A has been one of my favorite cows, she’s moderate framed, with excellent feet and udder quality and she always brings home one of the heaviest calves that rank right at the top of the pen.

DILUTER - HOMO POLLED Kingsway is one of my favorite bulls in the pen this year. He has a square hip that is heavily muscled and he has a nice clean head. His mother is a full sister to the dam of North Star, the $70,000 bull that LaBatte and Canadian Sires purchased a couple years ago. Kingsway is very similar to North Star in that he too is homo polled, smooth made, and is loaded with style.

He was packed full of red meat and was extremely sound made with perfect feet. Cow families run deep with 46N having Flash 13F on the top side and the Miss Moses cow family on the bottom side.

NON DILUTER - POLLED
O Ryan is a deep bodied, smooth made bull off a first calf heifer. North Star was our high seller from a couple years ago who was purchased by LaBatte Simmentals and Canadian Sires. North Star has proven to calve very well on heifers and sires calves that have a polled head, lots of muscle expression and excellent color patterns.
Kayce is a heavy haired and heavy muscled bull. His mother is a nice young cow that Brayden selected from the Rendezvous Dispersal sale. She has a good udder, excellent feet, and lots of hair. Kayce should sire a real nice set of replacement females.
POLLED - DILUTER
Here’s a homo polled, full fleckvieh calving ease option. North Point is smooth shouldered with an extended front end and a more refined head yet exhibits adequate shape and thickness. We’ve bred a few heifers to Jesse James and have been very pleased with the results. They are born easily, have good muscling, and a polled head. Precious 336L is an exciting daughter off Precious Thing 402T. She is stout made with good depth and an excellent udder. We thought highly enough of this pair last spring that we elected to flush 336L and those resulting calves look very interesting.

HOMO POLLED - NON DILUTER Nation is a bull that I think has a lot to offer. He started out at just 76 pounds at birth and never looked back, not only does he rank in top 2% for both calving ease and birth weight but he has a small yet masculine head. Nation has the rib shape and muscle mass that make him more than just a heifer bull. Nation has a double shot of calving ease as his mother is sired by Can Am, a bull we used with excellent results in the heifer pen. 309L is a beautiful young cow that is good footed, big ribbed and has an excellent udder, as does that whole cow family. Nation is a bull that we considered keeping and turning out in our heifer pen.

NON DILUTER Milan is a powerful son off our old heifer bull “Sochi”. His Full fleckvieh mother was my pick of our group of bred heifer last year and she

HOMO POLLED - NON DILUTER Noxville is another typical Marley son. He comes with a moderate birth weight but plenty of performance. He has the extra muscle shape and length of body that will add pounds to your weaning weight while still offering plenty of calving ease.
ELSA 235K
ELSA 703E
This is another well balanced Marley son. He has a low birth weight with decent performance and has an excellent hair coat. His young mother is quietly climbing the ranks as her first calf sold last fall as a bred heifer to SAJ and now has an impressive calf on the ground again this year. She has a strong udder with small well spaced teats, as she should considering who her mother is. At 9 years old, 703E still has a picture perfect udder.
PLUS VENOM 4006B

HOMO POLLED - NON DILUTER 39N is a stout made bull with good length and extra performance. He is very typical of the Hawkeye sons and his half sisters are developing into good young cows with excellent udders and nice small teats.
HOMO POLLED - NON DILUTER Hawkin is a soft made bull with a big stout hip.

Delorean is a bull that offers a little different pedigree for us. Future us a bull we bred a few heifers to, he calved well and we now have a couple of nice 2 year old heifers off him. Delorean is as dark red as you can make them and has a smoother front end. He may be a nice option for second calvers or young cows.

He
being well above average in all categories. He is a curve bender type bull that doesn’t sacrifice on maternal traits.

HOOK`S
Caliber is a stout made, square hipped bull with a little different pedigree. Calibrate is an American bred bull that we used to incorporate some outcross genetics. If you follow EPDs, Caliber has a very balanced set of numbers.

We feel this is a very complete group of Bulls, with a good mix of calving ease, highly maternal and power bulls to add value to your operation. We truly enjoy raising our family in this industry and spending time at cattle shows and sales watching the excitement in the Simmental breed. We seem to get busier every year though, with things around the farm and activities with family and perhaps don’t get a chance to show our appreciation and visit with all our customers the way we would like to. So a special thanks to everyone that has supported us at the past bull and female sales over the years. Without all of you we wouldn’t be able to enjoy this great industry!

Our bulls have been developed on a TMR ration. Our ration consists of cereal silage, chopped hay, brown oats and a BULLSEYE Feed bull supplement. All bulls have been double vaccinated with Fusogard to help in the prevention of foot rot. Also bulls have been double vaccinated with Bovi-Shield Gold One Shot and Ultrabac 7/Somubac. Bulls have been treated with Ivermectin and also received Safeguard crumbles in the fall. As well as a dose of Cylence in January.
We will work with you to get the bulls delivered as close to you as possible and in a time frame that works for both parties. Keep an eye on our McIntosh Livestock Facebook Page as well as DLMS/Cattlevids for Videos. Sale Weights and scrotal measurements will be posted a few days prior to the sale.
We would like to invite all past present and future customers to come on out to the sale and also try to stop by the farm to preview the bulls and the cow herd any time. The bulls will be on display indoors from March 13-15th at the Lloydminster Exhibition grounds in Lloydminster SK. Don’t hesitate to call with any questions. We look forward to seeing everyone March 15th!

Agribition 2025 Supreme Pen of bulls member here, Rooster 22N brought frame, hair and power to our group of three bulls this past fall. He’s a Teen Spirit son who is a home raised HFL Mind Game and Sassy 16C cross that we drew some semen on for use within our own herd before he sold in our 2024 sale to Doug Thoms, Sk. The Teen Spirit sons are proving to be high performing cattle that weigh at the tops of their contemporary groups consistently. Rooster is out of a lovely Cobra X Trendy cow that’s one to watch within our herd, she just had a full sibling heifer calf to Rooster and we are excited for her future!

HOMO POLLED
Outcross red pedigree? Check. Soft middled and easydoing? Check. Out of a beautiful, proven donor cow? Check. The list goes on and on here with Lithium 58N! He was an integral part of the 2025 Supreme and People’s Choice Pen of Bulls at Agribition. These Teen Spirit sons are really something else, Lithium weaned off at over 1000lbs on September 2nd and didn’t slow down there posting an admirable 1405lbs on December 27th. Power and presence, Lithium has both in spades. Maternal siblings have been past features in our bull sale selling to Westgold Farms, Selte Land & Cattle, Spornitz Farms, Louis Watt, Pinder Farms and Schleibinger Farms.

Summit 71N was the third bull in our Agribition Pen of Bulls in 2025. You’ll remember him as the super dark red, extremely hairy one in the pen. He’s the natural calf born to the original Mary Jane 10C cow in 2025. So many bulls have been marketed out of this great cow over the years and the quality remains high as we continue into the 2026 edition of the bull sale. Little bit of a throwback here being out of the Red Summit 54B bull. He crossed well with Mary Jane!

These Teen Spirit sons are such a powerful group, they are performance-oriented bulls with added hair and eye appeal. Big Poppa is out of one of our favourite Mary Jane cows, she has a fantastic udder and always raises high performing calves. If you’re looking for something with a bit different pedigree to the popular red bulls of today, take a close look here!

Asset 7N comes from the South Seven Miss Red 43C cow that has been a great producer of herd sires with many sons selling through our bull sale over the years to some very notable breeders. Such as Classic 44G who was selected by JK Bar, Westman and Lewis Farms. Wolverine 40H, going to North Creek Simmentals. Kingdom 10K, who now walks at High Country Cattle Services. Then there was Boost 70M who was purchased by Double R Farms at Biggar, Sk. Asset is never a bad choice to use on quality cows such as 43C he keeps the quality and consistency high!

HOMO POLLED
This Asset son deserves a long close look come March 15. He is good numbered and good looking and comes from one of the most interesting Mary Jane cows on the place. A maternal sibling to 55N sold this past December through the exciting Border City sale to Deeg Simmentals. The Asset sons are true breeding bulls, so dark red and hairy with great performance. We have Asset females milking in our herd now and are very pleased with the udder quality and their natural mothering ability. If you’re looking for a red bull with a different pedigree, look no further!

Limelight 527N will interest you if you are looking for a bull with a touch of added frame. He posted good performance numbers and carries strength in his performance EPD numbers. This embryo transfer bull is a direct son of Sassy 16C and has a baldie full sibling brother here in the sale as well as a couple full sibling heifers at home in our replacement pen. Limelight 2L was a past bull sale highlight in 2024 when he was purchased by Redrich Farms and Sjorgen Farms. We were able to freeze some semen on the bull and utilize him in our AI and Embryo program.

POLLED
Here is an exciting red baldie Limelight son that is easy to find in the bull pen. He does a lot of things right for us and we believe he has a lot to offer as a herd sire. He is a flush mate to the 527N bull and comes in a slightly more moderate and stouter package. He has the grow, thickness, hair, and flexibility to be a great one. I feel like I just go on and on about cow families here, but when you spend all day everyday for years building cow families like this guy comes from, you just can’t help but promote them. Sassy 16C has raised many beautiful females and many standout bulls. 528N is your chance to buy in on a great cow family.
KWA LEVERAGE 136F
Here’s a Darlin’ for you! We purchased Leverage’s dam from the KT Ranches inaugural production sale in 2024. True to Darlin’ form this bull is very soft middled with huge capacity and extra hair. A candidate for the heifer pen if that is what you’re after. This bull ranks in the top 10% of the breed for calving ease and the top 2% for birth weight. With his adjusted Yearling weight of 1480lbs he’s no slouch in the growth and performance departments either. He is sound, with a good foot under him and has an elite look.

This big, burly Circle G Heat Wave son will have a lot of friends’ sale day. Muscle mass is his strength and he has a lot of it. Again, from the Sassy family with his dam being a Stratton out of the original Sassy 16C. 39N has a user friendly 93lb birthweight and followed that up with some pretty explosive growth ever since. Posting an actual weight of 962 beginning of September and an actual yearling weight of 1355 on December 27. This guy will create desirable offspring males should grow well and push that scale down in the fall, females will milk and make good mothers.
Heatwave 40N is another Circle G Heat Wave son out of a great TNT Gunner cow. If you talk to anyone who has Gunner females in their herd they will all say they wish they had more of them, and that holds true for this guy’s mother. She is a problem free cow with great feet and a great udder. 40N brings some extra length and he is going to sire some growthy deep-red colored progeny.
HOMO POLLED
Here is a performance-oriented Circle G Heat Wave son that we like quite a bit. He weighs up really well with an actual weaning weight on September 2 of 1000lbs. 42N carries a very nice set of EPD’s ranking highly in the maternally oriented and also the performance numbers. The Sierra cow family has been around here for a good long time and 42N’s dam Sierra 10B is one of the foundation cows that have made this such a dependable cow family. 10B will always add power to her offspring, weaning off a heavy calf every year.

51N is another one of these good Circle H Heat Wave sons. These bulls all really type well together they are super hairy and good coloured. They all come with some added oomph on the scale and have all presented good growth numbers throughout all the life stages. 51N is no different, with both maternal and performance EPD numbers above average for the breed. 51N’s dam is a nice red baldie LFE Game Face cow that is one of Seth’s favourites, she was a past junior project of his and has developed into an ideal female.

HOMO POLLED
If you’re looking for a potential heifer pen prospect then this could be your guy. With his 17.5 calving ease number putting him in the top 2% of the breed for expected calving ease combined with his 0.3 birth weight number we expect him to calve well and easily. He has a very modest 81lb actual birth weight and posted a 1357lb adjusted yearling weight, so there is some grow there too. He is out of the Lumberjack bull that we purchased to use in our heifer pen and a beautiful SO Remedy X STF Trendy daughter that is going to be one to watch in the future.

HOMO POLLED We do love that Ironclad was hetero black and gave us a few red cattle to market out of him. We really love the Ironclad offspring and to get some red ones is a great bonus! One notable red Ironclad offspring is McIntosh Lady 50K who was purchased by Horner Cattle Company as a bred heifer from us out of Border City. Horner’s went on to show Lady 50K with her heifer calf as a pair and tore up the show road in the fall of 2024 hanging many banners and topping it off with a Top Ten in the Agribition Beef Supreme! This goes to show you that Ironclad is a top-notch female maker and we expect these Ironclad bulls to be so as well. 98N has performed very well, he is an end of February born calf but has weighed up impressively at every stage of life. When you’re a younger bull you have to out perform your counterparts if you are going to make the cut and 98N does that easily!

There are two LFE Burnout sons in this year’s sale, and they are both flat-out impressive in the flesh! So much hair, power and herd bull presence in both of them. 19N has an intriguing pedigree top side and bottom side, coming from good old Nashville 2D the bull producing specialist. Some of you will remember the maternal sibling bred heifer to 19N that sold in Border City 2025 as a highlight that day going to the good folks at X-T Simmentals. Well, the quality offspring just keep coming from Nashville 2D. This will be the first ever black hided Nashville son we have had to offer and the quality of this future herd sire is apparent to the eye and also runs deep in his blood.

If you like 46N’s picture, just wait until you see him in the flesh! He is one cool dude. Sired by Burnout, this sire group isn’t huge in numbers and as they are getting into this stage of life, we really wish there was more of them! Stout, easy-doing, easy-fleshing bulls with some added eye appeal. 46n’s maternal brother by Hannibal last year was appreciated by all who seen him, his new home is Galaxy Simmentals at Yorkton, Sk. 46n’s dam Tula 7K was a past Border City purchase from Rusylvia Cattle Co. and she has proven to be a wise investment.

HOMO POLLED - HOMO BLACK
Gotta love a black baldie! Especially when they are out of one of the most loved cows on the place like 12N is. We always look forward to the day 21D calves each year because she is sure to have a special one. Outlast is a full sibling to Katie Kolenosky’s beloved Lulu 34L show heifer as well as a full sibling to Brynn Steppler’s popular red baldie show heifer from last season Lulu 12M. They say when you’re shopping for your next herd sire the first thing you should do is make sure he’s out of a great momma cow, and Outlast hit the jackpot on that one! Outlast is hairy, and sound with a proud presence about him.

POLLED -
49N is a powerful No Limits son with a ton of length and desirable frame size. He comes from the Lexi/Sugar cow family which is our most prominent black cow family. His dam is one of Seth’s first cows, we showed her as a heifer calf in the fall of 2019 and she ended up being Reserve Junior Heifer Calf Champion at Agribition that year! A huge accomplishment for Seth as he was starting his own herd. He weighed 950lbs on September 2 and 1340 on December 27. A sound, fault-free bull that will get the job done!

Milestone 580N is a very special bull in our eyes. It is hard to find a bull with as much natural thickness and expression of muscle as this guy has. He is an embryo transfer calf out of a JF Milestone X Lexi flush which has already produced a sale feature female this past December. At the very exciting Border City sale this guy’s full sister sold to LA Ranch in British Columbia. Many people admired that female for her incredible spring of rib and structural soundness. Both of those attributes are strong in 580N as well. Performance plus here with 580N as well. With just a February 5 birthday 580N weaned off in early September with a 928lb weaning weight, then posted a scale crushing 1626lb adjusted yearling weight! Power, performance, phenotype, pedigree, they are all strong here in 580N!

HOMO POLLED - HOMO BLACK
Lexi X Heavy Hitter combo here in 516N. Lexi needs no real introduction, we’ve been talking about her for years and she just keeps producing the good ones for us. She’s honestly one of those rare, true herd building females that don’t come around very often. Check out 516N’s awesome EPD profile he is well above average in 13 out 15 measured traits! Lexi’s blend of calving ease and power crossed very well with Heavy Hitter’s blend of calving ease and power as is exhibited here in this bull.

MCINTOSH LEXI 6D reference

HOMO POLLED - HOMO BLACK
Milestone 573N, he is an embryo transfer son of Lexi and the only one we had with a full bald face. A full sibling sold in Border City in December to LA Ranch in British Columbia. She was a popular heifer calf selling that day, and many people appreciated her for her amazing rib shape and capacity. You just know ahead of time that the females out of this guy are going to be something special. If your in the business of raising your own replacement females take a look here!
HOMO POLLED - HETERO BLACK
This stout and chunky bull comes at you with a proud and cocky look. He’s out of a great looking No Limits first calver that really got the job done here with 74N! 2025 was our first year calving out No Limits females, and they did not disappoint. This guy can walk the walk with the best of them. Hairy and jet black with a perfect blaze. Lumberjack 74N just wants to get out there and breed some cows.

Ironclad gave us a nice set of bulls here for the 2026 Bull Sale. Two black hided ones here, and one red one. Ironclad was the result of an embryo purchase many years ago from 5 Corner Cattle Co. and that group of embryos ended up providing the building blocks for our entire black program. Most notably producing Lexi, our main black donor cow, and Ironclad who has walked our pastures for years. Ironclad is also a full sibling to the amazing AI sire Mader Walk This Way 224B! 81N is typical of the Ironclad offspring, sound structured, flexible in his joints, super hairy, with ample performance and growability.

HOMO POLLED - HETERO BLACK
Just look at his picture! You have to love this bull for his presence and style. I really appreciate the front third on this bull with his nice shoulder and expressive head carriage. He is out of a sweet Loaded Up 1119Y cow that is just hitting her stride in terms of production and is one I have my eye on to become a great cow as she matures. Ironclad has produced some really great females over the years and these Ironclad sons should be female makers as well.

This Cash son is a calf I was excited about since Day 1. His full sister last year was a feature lot in the Border City Sale. She was liked by many and sold to a good friend Tim McVicar. This bull is heavily pigmented and is off a really nice Raptor cow. I think this bull will do well in his career and will sire heavyweight steers and even better replacement heifers. These Cash sons are a consistent steady group.

JD is a bull that is noticed by everyone that enters the pen. He has presence and poise. A really loose hided, free moving bull that I’m really high on. His dam stems back to my 1U cow that was an important part of my fullbloods. His dam is a tight uddered cow that did an exceptional job on this bull. Weaning off at 900 pounds and I feel this bull has a lot of good about him.

A full brother to my high seller last year to Borderline and Mark Land and Cattle. A bull that is similar to him but in a slightly younger package. Dark red, hairy and raised by an excellent Willow cow. She has quickly become an important young cow in my herd. 104N is a typical Cash son; hairy, dark red, and quiet. This is a bull I’d be coming to look at, he has a lot of good about him.

The youngest bull on offer but a bull that is getting better and standing well with his older pen mates. A bull that is the purple red like the 29N bull. A good quiet honest bull that is going to look impressive as a mature bull. These Cash sons have been well received and the 5 sons that are in the sale are a good representation of the job he has done for me.

Kirk would be the darkest bull in the pen alongside the 132N bull. His dam is a cow that gets the job done year in and year out. He is a low set dark dark cherry red Cash son. He has good hair and is a low set bull that stands on good feet. He weaned off at a solid 900 lbs. and has the look of a herd bull. The first Cash daughters are calving now and will be a good group of females.

An interesting bull here, an embryo that is a full sib to Vigilante owned by Black Gold and Little Willow Creek and the Shook bull that Maxwell and Double RN bought as high sellers. A full sib heifer sold this fall at Border City to Andrea Capjack. This bull is changing and getting better daily as his recip dam was only milking on two quarters. He is hairy, dark red and big testicled. The proof he’ll be good is backed by the full sibs I mentioned above. His donor dam is currently being flushed as she gets the job done year in year out.

A big powerful Chevy son here, not many sons this year out there. The two bulls in the sale from Chevy are big framed, performance bulls. 9N was one all summer that I watched grow and was excited for him. Expect polled calves from this guy. His 93F dam has put many sons through this sale and many have been high sellers. Sons have sold to R. Fenton, G6 Farms, Sidehill Spring and Northwind Ag. Her only daughter she has had ranks very high in my herd. 9N weaned off his mom early September at 1000lbs

81N comes from a beautiful dam. I find her to be the ideal Fullblood female, great udder, heavily pigmented and a good foot. Sons have sold to many good breeders around the area with her most impressive son being SAJ Boone 84J who has a done a good job at Red Willow Ranch. Flare is another powerful Chevy son that is as long as a February cold snap. A bull that has really continued to gain steam as the winter has rolled on. A bull that will sire excellent daughters that will be very functional.

An embryo purchase through Canadian Donors comes this polled Rumble son. A big time performance bull that will sire those heavy weight steers while knocking the horns off. His donor dam was a beautiful cow that was a dark red, awesome uddered, big bodied female. If you’re looking for a different twist in pedigree, mark this guy down and have a look sale day.

94N came in dam through the package of cows bought from Alliance Simmentals. North Star was a feature bull from Kuntz Simmentals selling through this sale as a feature calving ease option. 94N came out a small 88 lbs. and could be an option for someone looking for early low birthweight calves. He is Homo Polled and has good hair. His young dam is a real quiet carefree cow that has another bull calf that will walk through the sale next year.

An interestingly marked fullblood. Homo polled with a brockle face. Big framed with a modest birthweight and good performance weaning over 900 lbs. early September. A bull that could be used on a variety of cows producing polled high performing calves.

Redman is exactly that, dark red Mountainview here that checks a lot of boxes. Deep sided, hairy and has the herdbull look to him. A bull I’ve admired all year. His Bootlegger dam is a tight uddered cow that clicked really well on this mating, weaning at 900 lbs. on September 6. He has continued to get better daily. A bull I’m excited to bring to town and see when he ends up.

A powerful dark hairy Mountainview son here. I bought a semen pack on Mountainview the first year it was made available and boy am I glad I did. The first daughters have weaned their first calves and if you look through my calving ease bulls, most are mothered by these daughters. 10N is a deep sided, free moving bull that stands near the top of the group and is noticed pretty easily when you walk through the pen of bulls. Should be easy to find sale day.

A nice Maverick/Mountainview cross here in 21N. Agent is probably the biggest scrotal bull in the pen. His dam is another dark red, tight uddered, heavy milking Mountainview cow. Look for Agent to offer calving ease without sacrificing performance, as he is a long bodied bull that weaned off at 800 lbs. early September.

An own son of TNT Gunner, an old red bull that was an important sire back in the day that offered calving ease and good females. 24N is from a first calving Mountainview cow that has done a good job here. Retro is a light boned bull that has the desired dark red color and should calve heifers well.

Murry is a bull that screams calving ease. His pedigree is stacked with calving ease with bulls like Red Force, Sherriff, Mountainview and his EPD for CE and BW rank him in the top 1% and 2%. Murry is sired by my past walking heifer bull from the Hoegl’s. 98N won’t be the biggest bull sale day but you’ll appreciate him for his small head, smooth shoulders and good foot. His young dam is a quiet cow who has raised a good one on her first try. If you’re looking for a bull that will calve heifers, I’d mark him high on the list.

Shooter is another calving ease option but with a popular white face. His EPD profile ranks him above average on 11/13 categories. His first calving dam is from my donor cow Hoop n Holler who is as impressive as a cow I’ve seen. Shooter will add some white and his sire Maverick has been an AI sire I’ve used on heifers for a few years, who calves very well.

Am embryo calf from old favorite cow Helga 645S. It has been a few years since I’ve had anything from her and my embryo inventory is very low. She was an ideal cow that had quite a resume of raising the good ones including the Equalizer 7U bull that did good things for McIntosh. 43N is a bull that is moderate in frame but has some serious thickness. He is a quiet bull that will be a good investment for someone sale day.

An interesting bull here is an own son of Walk the Line. One thing that makes this bull notable is the dam. The 89H cow is a beautiful cow. She was sold as a bred heifer to Willerton Simmental and has matured into a beauty. A full sister was sold this fall at Border City to Frontera Reds in Texas. 27N is a bull that is sharp fronted, long bodied on a big foot. If you’re looking to raise females, this might be the bull to do that. Have a look at his dam pictured.
Some older but proven genetics in this blaze faced powerhouse. Westcott is a familiar name that has cranked out many good cattle over the years. This bull is full of power weaning off his recip dam at 1000 lbs. early September. A bull that should have friends on sale day that could work on many different kinds of cows. Whether you’re wanting those heavy steers or a group of replacement females, this fella should get the job done.
