Helloand welcome to our 2026 Sale. Our team is working extremely hard on everything from putting up feed, irrigation projects to cleaning pens, calving and getting ready for the bull sale. Geoff and Lacey Anderson had a successful year showing our animals and have them looking amazing. Any success we have is credited to everyone who shows up every day and does what it takes to get the job done.

It is a radically different time for the cattle business with record pricing and optimism. This makes it more important to search for elite cattle and cull harder. My goal was to accelerate the program by seeking out the best genetics and use embryos to advance the program. Geoff, with the help of Scott Bohrson and his team are continually looking out for the best genetics. We were fortunate to work with Dr. Walker and Abbotsford Vet, expanding their IVF program and offering their IVF services on farm. Approximately 700 embryos from our donors in 2024 have resulted in the bulls offered in this catalogue. Rod MacLeod named our donor pasture; it is” the Field of Dreams.”

The bulls on offer all have excellent feet and are structurally sound. We have both yearling and extra aged bulls. We cull hard and any animal that does not measure up will not sell. All bulls are examined by a Veterinarian for soundness and will have passed a semen test. If your bull arrives and you are unhappy, we will replace it; or find an acceptable solution for you. KT RANCHES COMMITMENT

TO CUSTOMERS

We guarantee we will sell you a bull that is structurally sound, that has been examined and passed a semen test by a Licensed Veterinarian.

Should any of our bulls fail to be a satisfactory breeder, unable to physically service a cow or a heifer, we will replace the bull with a bull of equal value. In the event this is not possible an adjustment will be made to reflect the value of the bull in question or a credit will be given towards the purchase of another bull. We will not provide replacements for physically injured or mismanaged animals. We will offer a breeding season warranty for the bulls through KT Ranches or you may purchase insurance from a third party provider.

Our warranty program is transparent. If under the program if your bull is not able to breed due to sickness, injury, or death we will provide you with another bull or in the alternative a credit to next years sale. The warranty does not include freezing of semen. Should you have any problem with you bull under warranty contact us directly; we will require your veterinarian to complete a report including a post-mortem and email the report to KT Ranches. We will make sure your cows are serviced and you are satisfied with your purchase.

Our warranty is designed to provide you protection during the high risk time of the breeding season. Under this program we will provide warranty for six months. The cost of the warranty is 7.0% of the purchase price. This covers the entire purchase price less any salvage value recovered. KT Ranches liability is as set out herein and we will not be responsible for anything other than up to the purchase price of the bull. Warranty will not apply to any negligent, willful, or malicious behaviour of which any claim would be considered fraudulent.

If you leave your bull with KT Ranches you must either purchase the warranty or insure the animal with a third party. We plan on delivering the bulls ASAP after the sale. Any bulls picked up and paid for sale day will receive a $200 credit.

RIGHT TO SEMEN

KT Ranches reserve 1/3 semen interest in all bulls and the right to collect semen on any bull sold through this sale. The semen collection will be at the sellers expense and the buyers convenience. Any semen collected will be collected for in herd use only.

REGISTRATION & TRANSFER

A registration certificate of the animal will be duly transferred to the purchaser for any registered animals.

KT Deep End 5063 is one of the most exciting individuals ever born at KT Ranches. We had high expectations for the first group of Coleman Mendoza 271 sons, and they have lived up to every expectation. Mendoza was our pick of the Coleman bull sale in part because of his incredible phenotype, and a big part because of his dam Coleman Donna 5247, one of our favourite cows at Coleman’s. Deep End is stacked with great cows on both sides of his pedigree. KT Countess 3342 was the lead off and co-high selling female in the 2024 fall sale and has turned into a beautiful Angus female, who has hit the ground running. We showed two full sisters to Deep End with KT Countess 5135, being reserve senior heifer calf champion at Canadian Western Agribition. KT Countess 5106 was a class winner at Agribition, and one of the highlights of the Angus Collection to Park view and Shologan. KT Deep End 5063 is a highperforming bull that does a lot of things right. Big bodied, huge hip, awesome top, hair, and back leg as well as true Angus character. A bull we have high hopes for and a definite sale highlight.

YEARLINGS BULLS

An excellent pair of flush brothers by Mendoza and SAV Blackcap May 1604. 1604 has been a pillar of consistency since joining the KT donor program she has 29 registered calves with Canadian Angus, including a few of the highlight flushes in the 2024 bull sale, a pair of Angus collection high selling females, but maybe none more impressive than this pair of Mendoza sons. We go backand-forth on some of the favourite bulls in the pen, and these two always are in the mix, stout, hairy, big boded bulls with a lot of horsepower in a pedigree lined with big-time cows.

Brooking Countess 7077, is one of the most impressive Angus females we have laid eyes on. She is so powerful, long big bodied, yet still extremely pretty and has an awesome udder. She’s the matron of the cow of the Countess family, and some of the most popular cattle in the breed trace back to Countess 7077. A powerful foursome of flush brothers that will add stature, hair, length, performance and consistency while leaving a big-time set of daughters.

One of the biggest and best flushes of the year this year is this Mendoza x Covey Hill Zimmie 8K combo. 8K is a beautiful Renovation female that came from Covey Hill and is always a favourite among visitors at the ranch. She is as deep as she is wide, wedge shaped, awesome headed, and it would be tough to draw a much better udder on an Angus female. A flush mate to these bulls was the selection of Greenwood Cattle out of this past Angus collection sale, and one we feel will make an awesome cow. A quadrant of powerhouse brothers, with extra power, length, frame, and muscle to go along with the maternal stability that is bred into them.

A dynamic duo of flush brothers by Mendoza and Coleman Dixie Erica 7120, 7120 would be arguably one of the prettiest, most elegant Angus females at the ranch. Perfect in her lines, awesome udderred, long spined and big bodied. She’s in an exclusive club of cows that can be as elegant as she is and still put the amount of power she does into her offspring. One of the real popular trio of flush brothers in last year’s sale were Executive x 7120’s. They were selected by Hummock Springs, BlackRidge and Ferme LaBlond. A powerful pair of flush brothers with a deep lineup of maternal backing.

KT Mendoza 5009 is another big bodied, stout made power bull by Mendoza. Blair‘s Forever Lady 674D is an easy doing, huge middled, Napoleon daughter that is the kind that stays fat on air. If you’re looking for genetics that can survive on very little and thrive on a bit, this is a bull that has the build and maternal backing to do that. A bull that’s got enough torque to make highend feeder calves and leave you with a big time set of daughters, a bull that

SAV EMBLYNETTE 3623 was one of the original mainstay donors that built a lot of good cattle, including one of our favourite bulls last year KT Forged 4313 that went to U2Q. KT Mendoza 5158 is 3623’s natural calf, and as we all hate seeing our favourites age, she did run out of gas a bit at 13. Mendoza 5185 is a long bodied, hairy, big topped, stout made bull, and there is another one with a lot of great cows in his pedigree

YEARLINGS BULLS

We cut Mendoza loose on all our favourite donor cows of which KT Chloe 1021 is right near the top of the list. Her very first calf was Jack Smash the high selling bull in the 2024 sale. She was then the very first cow to calve as a 3-year-old, and had KT Chloe 4000 an incredible Glacier daughter that is at the top end of the first calvers group. Another big-time bull, that sold last year, is KT Commander 4680. An Emerald son out of 1021 that is now a monthly staple in the Canadian Sires lineup. This pair of flush brothers is another great opportunity to stack as many big-time cows as you can into a pedigree. Awesome phenotype, huge maternal and fertility bred in.

When we talk about big league cows behind these bulls, the list is short that have been as impactful and is important in the last decade as Brooking Beauty 333. We could talk for pages on 333 with 170 registered progeny, with many more to come. She is still impressive and going strong at 13 years of age. An impressive set of three Mendoza flush mates that will add length, size, performance, pounds, and back by one of the legendary cows in the breed.

KT North America 3229 was one of our favourite bulls to sell them in the 2024 bull sale and went to Steppler Farms in Manitoba. Congrats to them on an awesome bull sale, with many good-looking North America sons. KT Landscape 5269 is a unique dude, and one that gets your attention every time you’re through the pen. His damn is a moderate framed, big bodied, good uddered, good looking Bravo female. This is a bull that’s been a standout from a young age and is one I love looking at. He is huge bodied, stout, long, heavy to go along with extra look, an ideal back leg and a true Angus character. One that’s worth the trip to Cherryville.

Bar E L Rose 99F was the pick of Bar E L herd and is a big-time OCC legacy daughter and is bigger version of the most Legacy females. 99F is smooth in her lines, long, elegant, and good uddered. North America 5165 is another high-quality, North America son. North America put a stamp on them with extra look, body, muscle, shape and style.

A low birth, smooth made, easy doing North America son. His dam Anderson Barb Rose 1513 is a beautiful, good looking, big bodied, ideal uddered female that is raised a lot of good calves. A bull that could be used in either pasture.

Our lead off South America bull this year is out of SAV Madame Pride 0620, who is an incredible Rainfall female, a female quickly moving up the donor ranks. She’s big bodied, incredibly long, good looking, and awesome uddered. She is one that is worth a trip to Cherryville in the summer to see on green grass. South America 5501 is a bit younger bull, but one that has no trouble keeping up with the others. Hairy, stout, huge ribbed, easy doing and cool looking.

YEARLINGS BULLS

PM Tibbie 216’ 15 is still a fan favourite around here and we would still get as many request for embryos out of her as any cow on the ranch. She has a timeless Angus build. She’s big bodied, angular, good looking, good footed, and uddered. Last year seven sons out of 216C averaged $42,642 to some of the best cattle operations in North America. A pair of high-quality South America sons backed by one of the breed’s greatest.

One of the most unique and profitable matings of the last few years has been South America and Brooking Countess 9026. The most famous being Brooking TW 4022 the $270,000 high selling bull of the 2025 sale season. Brooking Countess 9026 has been a model of consistency no matter which way you mate her. She is the highest income earning cow on the ranch. KT South America 5105 is good looking, hairy, stout, tanky, and herd sire prospect with some of the highest end blood in the breed running through his veins.

Hummel Argentine as a bull we have admired for some time and were excited to get the chance to flush Brooking Beauty 333 that way. KT Argentina 5049 is an interesting bull with a lot of good to offer. True Angus character, cool looking, square hip, big top and long spined. This is a bull that could build herd changing females.

KT Rayburn 3073 was another one of our very favourite bulls to sell in 2024 to Robb Land and Cattle and Clint Currie. He is a maternal brother to Coleman Mendoza, out of the legendary Coleman Donna 5247. KT Foundation 5280 is another bull in the running for pen favorite. He has been a standout from an early age and was a big reason we went back and flushed some of our best cows to Rayburn. His dam SAV Rosetta 7245 is a beautiful Resource female that is the front pasture kind. Big bodied, tanky and awesome uddered. Foundation has the same build, with lots of rib, huge bodied, easy doing, and an awesome crest and head. A true Angus breeding bull.

A long bodied, deep ribbed, square made, good looking bull. His dam, Anderson Sunshine 1029 is a big bodied, easy doing, good uddered female with an outcross pedigree.

A couple of the most intriguing bulls in the sale are this pair of leadoff Emerald brothers. We talked about their dam, SAV Madame Pride 0620 earlier as one of the favourite up and coming donors. She’s a big time Rainfall cow that we love to look at and one that is really starting to hit her stride in production. Brooking Emerald needs no introduction, he has been a breed changer making incredible bulls and females with many show champions sale topppers, donor cows and AI sires. These are extraordinary bulls in their phenotype, body, build, hair and look.

Brooking Beauty 8187 is another of our very top donor females. She is truly a sight to behold and is one of the most impressive looking Angus females in the breed. 8187 has been mated many ways successfully, and the Emerald combo comes as no accident. One of the favourite young females at Brooking is an Emerald x 8187, a full brother, Chosen One, was one of the highlights of the 2024 sale season to Murray Ranches, and another full sister is in the KT donor program. KT Powerplay 5437 is a remarkable bull with extra hair, look, length, frame and mass. Awesome pedigree and phenotype.

A trio of Brooking Emerald x SAV Blackcap May 1604. 1604 is one of the most consistent and dominant donor females we have. She has had bigtime flushes by South America, Early Arrival, Glacier, Mendoza and now Emerald. A flushmate to these bulls was one of the highlights of the Angus Collection for Kamrie Kaufmann and South View Ranch. Kamrie won the 50K For The Future, sponsored by Bohrson Marketing. She selected Emerald x 1604 embryos and turned that into $32,500 heifer to Rancier Farms. A trio of brothers that will add consistency, hair, look, depth and will leave a big time set of females.

KT Rip 5044 is another one of the pen favourites and the lead off bull by SAV Rip 2710. SAV Rip 2710 has left a great set of cattle, siring easy doing, big bodied cattle and now that the first daughters are calved out, we can assure you that he’s a certified female Maker. SAV Primrose 8073 is a big bodied, good looking Resource female. Rip 5044 is a man’s man. He has as much shape, hip, top, rib, and muscle as any bull in the sale, but maintains a cool front end, masculine crest, and a nice head. A bull that can do a lot of good in the industry.

An eye appealing Caliber son from the Sazerac cow family. His dam is a good uddered, tanky Captain Scream daughter. This one will make females that last a lifetime.

WHL Countess 1764 is a model SimAngus cow that we wish we had 100 of. She’s elegant, perfect uddered, stout, deep ribbed and has been a big-time producer. We sold 11 sons out of her last year to leading cattlemen across Western Canada, including KT Disco 4065 to LaBatte Simmentals and KT Dimes 4403 to Erixon Simmentals as two of the high selling bulls of the day. KT Caliber 5655 is her natural calf and has all the potential like his older brothers. He is huge hipped, deep ribbed, big bodied and good looking. A bull that will make big time feeder cattle and leave a wicked set of daughters.

One of the most intriguing bulls of the day is the WTW x Sage combo. Sage has been the most prolific donor in Simmental history and keeps producing great ones, we are very proud she now calls KT Ranches home. WTW 5365 is explosive in his muscle pattern, is huge topped, has ton of center body and rib and ties it into a good-looking package. A high performing bull backed by one of the best cows in the business.

We haven’t had many black Walk The Line sons to sell, we would probably be lying if we said we weren’t hoping for all red ones like their brother, lot 159, but Walk The Line can make them as good black and he does red. A blaze face and a solid black, these are high performing, stout, big bodied bulls that are backed by one of our best females.

Erixon Darlin’ 2J is another one of our absolute favorites around here. She has an incredible show career, with back-to-back top 10 Supreme Finalist at Agribition. First Lady Classic champion and many more. Since hitting production, she has been a big contributor to the last few sales with many high end bulls and females. She is picture perfect uddered, and one we love to look at every day. ES Right Time was used on a few donors and they are explosive, heavy muscled cattle with lots of good. Different pedigree on the top side and one of our very best on the bottom side.

Every year we breed a bunch of simmy heifers Angus and the result is high quality calving ease bulls like this. We love the Sparrow bulls, and the females even more. A high-quality Sim-Angus with maternal and calving ease built in.

Every once in a while you come across an animal that the first time you lay eyes on them you get a gut feeling and know that this one is special. For me, the first time I seen Tangleflags at Farm Fair in Edmonton he was one of those. Tangleflags is an incredible beast, that you love more every time you see him, and could be in the BC travel guide as one of Cherryville’s more popular tourist attractions. RF Scream 215Z is certainly a female that has stood the test of time and stayed relevant for 13 years until her passing last fall. She has 53 registered progeny with the Canadian Simmental, and maybe none more impressive than this trio of flush brothers by Tangle. These are stout made, tanky, hairy, big bodied, goodlooking band of brothers.

Adjust your sight a bit here, this will be the youngest bull in the sale, but one that is high in quality. We are lucky to have Reddington here in the flesh, breeding cows. He’s an athletic, active breeder here with awesome feet. The Reddington daughters are now making their way to the top with the same great feet, fertility and good udders. City View Kora is a big bodied, good uddered cow that been a good producer. A Betts daughter, KT Kora 48H is now in the Sunny Valley donor program, a Walk The Line daughter, KT Kora 4357 was one of the favorite red heifers that sold in the 2024 female sale. KT Reddington 5677 is a dark red, hairy, stout, well balanced bull backed by a high-end cow.

When we mated Walk The Line to Soda Pop 90G, this is exactly what I was hoping for. A dark red, big backed, stout made, deep ribbed, big scrotal, good looking and nice headed bull. He had two black flushmates in the sale but we would be lying if we said we weren’t hoping for a bunch of red ones that looked like this. Black Gold Soda Pop 90G has made a big impact on the Simmental Program at KT and will continue to in the future. A couple of my favorite first calf heifers are 90G daughters. One of the biggest hipped, stoutest, most muscular bulls in the sale. This bull is so stout, he has muscle in his eyelids. His dam is a good uddered, moderate farmed female that does a good job every year. Sometimes it’s good to stick with what you know and a proven and predictable mating is where you go. I don’t know if we have had a more predictable and profitable mating than Walk the Line and Sage 49J. Sage 49J is a perfect uddered, big bodied, good-looking female you love from all angles. She was the 2024 National Champion Simmental female, but more important is what she has done in production. In 2024, 5 full sib Walk the Line x Sage females averaged $28,000 and another full brother was one of the highlight red bulls last year to Curtis Simmentals. This is an awesome looking bull, backed by one of our very best females, this is one that will make great ones of both sexes.

WFL Sage 506C is a cow that needs no introduction, and one we could talk about for pages. She is the dam and granddam of some of the breeds most elite cattle, and we are very honored she now calls KT home. KT Walk This Way 5401 is a bull with extra frame, length, depth and power. A bull that will stretch out some chassis on his calves and one you know is backed by one of the most iconic cows in the breed.

KWA Shamrock has been a go to calving ease bull, that sires low birth cattle that still have ability to grow. KT Scream 3514 is a WTL x 215Z combo that’s awesome udder and good looking. She did a great job in her first effort with this dark red, hairy, moderate, low birth calving ease prospect.

Andi Black Remmi was one of our picks out of the Westway female sale in 2024, where she was one of the high selling females of the day. She’s got a great look and build and laid down a beautiful udder. This Mountain View son, that came in dam is a smooth made long bodied, extra frame and is about as dark red as you can make them. Another candidate for the heifer pen.

SVS Backroad was our selection out of the 2024 Sunny Valley Bull sale and is a bull that has been used successfully in the heifer pen. KT Backroad 5669 is a moderate framed, dark red blaze faced bull that smooth made and could be a candidate for either the cow or heifer pasture.

YEARLINGS BULLS

We haven’t sold many Red Angus bulls in the past but do plan on increasing our numbers. KT Resource 5326 is a well-built, dark red, nice headed, wellbalanced bull. His Dam Red U2 Hidee Ho 400F came from the historic U2 dispersal and is a tank of a cow with a beautiful udder. A bull that should make some high-end replacement females.
