We would like to start off by thanking everyone who has supported our sales over the past years. You’ve made it possible for us to continue doing what we love with our families. It’s nice to be able to have some good years in the cattle industry and we hope everyone is able to take advantage of it.
The Speckle Park breed has come leaps and bounds over the years and it’s exciting to see that there is interest growing in them from the States. They are well known for their exceptional carcass and are entering high end restaurants, butcher shops and farmer markets being marketed as their own premium brand. We had more calls for Speckle Park steers this fall then we were able to source. It’s an exciting time to be in the breed and if you want help marketing your calves please don’t hesitate to reach out.
With more heifers being retained to breed in the cattle industry this year we are excited to share with you our selection of Red Angus Bulls. The vast majority of the red bulls will work on heifers and have the ability to cover large groups. These bulls have the maternal genetics to produce great females to keep in your own herd or sell to others as replacements. They will also produce quality steers that will sell and feed well.

Before we started raising purebred cattle we were running our commercial herd. We had an idea of a cow that could breed every year and raise a calf with no help, no maintenance and minimal feed.After trying to advance our commercial program with others genetics we decided the easiest way to get what we wanted was to build it ourselves. So we started into the purebred side of the cattle business with the idea of producing and selling bulls we would and do use ourselves. Our cows run on pastures that can’t be gathered or checked with quads or side-by-sides due to rocks, cliffs, bogs, trees, steep hills or creeks. This makes structural integrity a natural selection for our herd which means our bulls are bred to work. We’ve sent multiple yearling bulls to massive mountain range pastures and all the customers have been extremely pleased with how the bulls worked and stood up to their rugged terrain. We take pride in raising bulls that work. If you’re interested in one of our bulls or our program we’d be more than happy to show you our herd and talk cattle.

2025 has been a big year for us. Our oldest graduated and left for college leaving our crew at home just a bit smaller. Which meant for some big shoes to be filled on the show string this fall and our younger two definitely did that in stride. On top of that we had another successful female sale this past December with heifers going to all over Canada. We couldn’t do any of this with out those who have continued to support our program.
