1.Visit dlms.ca and follow the link to the DLMS Farm Gate timed auction site www.farmgatetimedauctions.ca, click the LOGIN/REGISTRATION button. First time users will select the REGISTER button from this page. Fill out the registration formto signup for a free user account and it allows you to select a username and password for use on all Farm Gate Timed auctions. This program will send you text and email messages whenever there is activity on your favorite lots, or someone challenges your proxy bid and this is why you will be asked for both your current email and cell phone number. If you are a past participant in the Farm Gate Timed auctions simply enter your username and password to continue. This takes you to a list of both current and upcoming Farm Gate Auctions.
2. You can choose your favourite lots in this sale at this time and the program will allow you to open either all sale lots or just your favorite lots on your screen. Any time there is active bidding on a lot you have identified on your favorite list you will get a text and/or an email noting this activity.
3. The program allows you to place a proxy bid on any sale lot. This in fact protects your interest in any lot of interest for you to a specified dollar value you set, when you may not be able to give 100% attention to the sale. If the lot has a $2000 bid on it and you place a proxy bid of $3500 into the system, the computer will bid $2100 for you but if some one else bids $2200, the computer will again bid for you, this time at $2300. The system will look after your interest to a maximum of $3500. If another bidder is on at $3600, your proxy will no longer be effective and you will no longer have the winning bid on this lot without once again logging in and bidding again or moving your attention to a second lot of interest.
4. At closing time of the sale the entire sale will extend bidding if a bid is placed on any lot in the sale. Any bid received after close time will extend the sale by the time listed on each sale. In most cases the time gets shorter the longer in to extended bidding the sale is. When no bidding occurs for the extended time the computer will declare the sale finished.
5. Following the sale the Consignor or Sale Manager will invoice all buyers in the sale, please contact the seller with questions or to arrange delivery, pick up or shipping of your purchases.

WHAT IS RACEHORSE STYLE SALE CLOSE? Racehorse style sale close is when the entire sale stays open in extended bidding. This type of sale allows you as the bidder to change to a different lot within the same sale if the bidding has gone in to extended bidding.
HOW WILL EXTENDED BIDDING WORK? When we get to the close out end time the clock for close extends with any bid placed with less than 5 min on the clock. This type of extended bidding turns the end time to more of a soft time. Extended bidding allows bidders to compete in lots like a real auction and give all bidders the same time to make a decision. Always follow the clock to see how much time remains in the sale you are interested in.
Welcome to the 5th annual HS Angus Bull Sale. We would like to start by thanking everyone who has made what we do possible. This of course includes our customers. Many of whom we have the priviledge to call, friends. It also includes the crew behind the scenes who are there to lend a helping hand whenever it is needed.
As we all know, these are unprecedented times in the cattle business. The market shows no signs of slowing in the near future and as such it just makes sense to invest in the future of your herd. That future is the momma-cow. She is the factory that enables the rest of the system to function. Trouble free cows that raise big healthy and shapely calves while breeding back in a timely manner are what we all strive to see throughout our herds.
This years pen of bulls is one we are extremely high on from top to bottom, and a large reason for that is the maternal foundation behind them. We cull our cows hard, very hard and we do so to ensure that every single bull that carries the HSA prefix has not only the growth, hair and shape you desire but also the backing of only our best dams to move your herd into the future.
This marks year 2 of developing our bulls on masterfeeds bull pellet and this pen of bulls has truly excelled on feed. We look forward to seeing or visiting with you in the coming weeks and at our Open house March 21st . -H����, Nic���, P�i����&C�����

Payment
Payment is expected in full within 30 days of sale close unless prior arrangments have been made. All settlement must be made in full before cattle will be released or papers are transfered. Please make all cheques payable to Henry Stewart or HS Angus.
Bidding
Each animal will sell to the highest bidder. Bidders unable to bid online, may phone their bids in to the listed representatives.
Announcements
Announcements made at the time of the sale will take precedence over printed matter in the catalog. Buyers are cautioned to pay close attention to announcements.
Liability
Although every precaution will be taken, all persons who tour the pens do so at their own risk. The owners assume no liablity, legal or otherwise in the event an accident occurs.
BreederGuarantee
All bulls sell with the responsible breeders guarantee outlined by the Canadian Angus Association. Which means you are guaranteed a sound fertile bull capable of servicing a reasonable number of cows. HS Angus does not warranty physical injury or mismanagement. Bulls will be semen tested before the sale. The seller will not, under any circumstances, be responsible for more than the original purchase price of any animal
DecisionDeffered
Bulls selling as decision deferred have been deemed likely to pass by breeding time in consultation with our vet. Terms on decision deferred bulls are half at sale time and half after they pass semen test. In the event the bull does not pass, your deposit will be refunded or put towards another bull based on your preference.
Yardage
All animals left at HS Angus, are left at the purchaser's risk. HS Angus will provide the animals with reasonable care and attention, but assume no liability in the event of sickness, injury, or death.INSURANCE

Yearling bulls can be kept free of charge at HS Angus until June 1st
Delivery
HS Angus offers free delivery within a 300km radius. Delivery can be arranged to further distances at no more than cost. Bulls will be delivered to your door at the convenience of the seller as close to the requested time as possible.
Insurance
Ownership risk to purchaser commences immediately following the sale. We strongly recommend that you insure your purchases
Semen
The consignors reserve the right to in herd semen use on any bull sold in the sale, with the semen drawn at the consignor’s expense and the buyer’s convenience
