Page 1

Welcome to the Third Annual High Cattle Company Online Bull Sale!

It is an incredible time to be in the cattle industry. With record highs and a renewed sense of excitement for the future, the opportunities for producers have never been greater. As the industry continues to grow and evolves, we are committed to produce seedstock that meet the ever-changing needs of our customers without sacrificing the core values that our customers have come to rely on. Our mission is to produce cattle that excel in both purebred and commercial herds, built on our core values of docility, structural integrity, udder structure, performance, and longevity.

To stay at the forefront, we continually source genetics from the most prominent programs across North America through an extensive artificial insemination and embryo transplant program. We strive to source genetics with predictability, powerful phenotype, and maternal ability.

To ensure the success of your next herd sire, our entire cow herd and sale offering have undergone rigorous genomic testing and performance data collection. This year’s lineup is a testament to that discipline, with a significant portion of the bulls performing well above breed averages.

We want to thank our returning customers, prospective buyers, and fellow breeders for your continued interest in our program. We invite you to visit the ranch anytime to view the offering in person. For those unable to travel, videos will be available on DLMS in late February.

On behalf of the entire Bohrson Marketing Team, we are proud to welcome you to the High Cattle Co. Online Bull Sale, taking place Tuesday, March 3, through the DLMS.ca FarmGate Timed Auction system. This offering represents a program that is built with purpose, discipline, and a clear understanding of what commercial cattlemen need in today’s industry. They take great pride in servicing you, their valued customer with the very best bulls for your cowherd.

High Cattle Co. has assembled an impressive and well-balanced set of Angus and Limousin bulls that are designed to go out and work. These bulls are bred with a focus on calving ease, performance, sound structure, and longevity; traits that directly impact profitability where it matters most. The consistency you’ll see throughout this catalogue is no accident; it is the result of a thoughtful sire selection program and a cow herd that is built around functionality and maternal strength. The Angus bulls on offer bring proven, predictable genetics that excel for growth, carcass merit, and docility, while maintaining the kind of structural integrity required for long-term use. The Limousin bulls add muscle shape, performance, and efficiency, offering an excellent option for producers looking to add pounds and marketability to their calf crop without sacrificing calving ease or soundness. This is a set of bulls that have been developed with longevity in mind, grown out responsibly and evaluated honestly. High Cattle Co. stands behind their program and the cattle they produce, and we are confident this offering will appeal to both progressive commercial producers and seedstock customers alike.

F94L TESTING:

All Limousin bulls have been tested for the F94L gene.

Animals with one or two copies of the mutation have large ribeye area, increased muscularity, improved carcass yields, improved meat tenderness, decreased marbling and subcutaneous fat thickness. Carriers don’t have significant changes in birthweights but typically improved growth and efficiency due to decreased muscle turnover and increased lean tissue growth versus fat accretion.

NASHVILLE 508N ET

Starting off with a pair of strong ET individuals. We campaigned Nashville this past fall where he was admired by many and earned peoples choice champion bull calf at Agribition. Both bulls are filled with potential; maternal combined with explosive performance both ranking top 1% of the breed for WW and YW. Numbers aside these two come to the top of the pen: complimenting each other with smooth head and shoulder shape with immense depth, huge hips and a stout quarters combined with big scrotal all built on top a square foot. Stepping into pedigree they boast our strongest cow family with the TMF 501x cow.
