Welcome

TO OUR 23rd ANNUAL BULL & FEMALE SALE

It’s our pleasure to welcome you to our 23rd Annual Bull & Female Sale here at High Bluff Stock Farm. As always, we take great pride in offering cattle that reflect the quality, consistency, and performance we’ve worked hard to build into our program over many years. The beef industry continues to present strong opportunities, and with solid demand across the sector, we’re pleased to share this year’s offering with fellow cattle producers.

While we did not exhibit cattle this past year, we were honoured to stay actively involved in the show industry through judging opportunities across British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario. We value the chance to work alongside breeders across the country and believe these experiences continue to sharpen our eye, reinforce our breeding priorities, and strengthen our program at home.

As you browse through this year’s catalog and every catalog going forward, you’ll again notice the inclusion of HRJ prefix cattle, representing Johnson family genetics. Our HRJ and HBSF cattle are managed under the same principles, with a consistent approach to breeding, selection, and a shared breeding guarantee. You will once again see PAX Angus bulls in the sale from Tyler Digby - it’s been great to add this Angus division to the bull sale - Tyler’s bullpen continues to get better each year, if you are looking for an Angus bull make sure to take a look.

We’re excited about the strong group of females on offer this year. Our Momma cow herd remains a point of pride, built around soundness, productivity, efficiency, and disposition. We expect our cows to wean big calves, maintain structure and longevity, and do it all with a quiet, workable attitude. Whether you’re looking for a foundation female, a junior show prospect, or a future bull builder, we believe this year’s heifer pen offers something to fit your program.

The bull pen is really impressive to walk through, we’re proud of what we’ve put together. We’ve focused on building a consistent, uniform set of bulls with depth, thickness, hair quality, and functional conformation. Disposition continues to be a top priority, and we’re confident these bulls will be valuable, dependable additions to your operation. Our pens are always open for viewing, and we’d be pleased to walk through the bulls and females with you ahead of sale day.

To our customers, thank you for your continued support—we sincerely appreciate the opportunity to work with you. To our family and everyone who helps behind the scenes, thank you for everything you do. We’re grateful to make our living doing what we love and look forward to visiting with you throughout the sale season.

The tradition continues,

CONSISTENCY, CONSISTENCY, CONSISTENCY!!!

As it would come to be expected, the Charolais bullpen at High Bluff is deep with hairy, thick, sound, big testicled and QUIET candidates that offer and envelope multiple excellent sire groups. The many brother acts included have sires representing their fantastic in-house bull battery and very interestingly, sons of past high sellers that they have been able to use back in the herd too! Of course that only strengthens the bottom side of their pedigrees stacking in more of their own good cow families to the packages. Thus, the consistency!

The Simmental section of the bull sale, is competitive, especially in recent years, with their “white” counterparts. They too offer the attractive consistency feature of brothers sired by notable past sellers with a dabble of A.I. sire codes included. Again, there’s lots of proven cow family strength in their DNA.

The Black Angus bulls, offered by Donna’s cousin, Tyler, are still the “new kids”, but are an ever improving dimension to the bull sale. The strongest group ever are presented this year, without a doubt, and different options for different programs and utilizations exist.

As you walk through the heifer offering, it becomes very obvious they have been sorted very thoroughly and with intent to create an incredible uniform group, fitting well with the whole sale’s them of CONSISTENCY! Herdbuilding opportunities exist in volume here.

Certainly feel free to call on any of us at Transcon Livestock for any appraisal viewpoints you may have. We are, of course, as always, available to bid and buy in your absence. This free service has been used for decades very successfully by many cattlemen and is confidential to you. It’s conflict free, as we are never paid bonus commissions by the seller nor do we own these type of cattle, so we won’t be bidding against you for our own benefit. Simply call any of our cell phones listed, we’d love to talk cattle.

WELCOME FROM BOHRSON MARKETING

It is a pleasure to welcome you to the 23rd Annual Bull Sale for High Bluff Stock Farm, proudly operated by the Jackson family. Reaching this milestone is a true testament to the consistency, integrity, and dedication that have defined this program for more than two decades worth of sales.

The Jackson family has built their program around the fundamentals that matter most, performance and strong maternal value. Their breeding philosophy focuses on producing a balanced, functional set of cattle designed to excel in real-world conditions. Depth of body, natural thickness, hair, and eye appeal are trademarks of the High Bluff program, but never at the expense of structural integrity. Sound structure and foot quality remain at the forefront, ensuring longevity and durability in both the pasture and the breeding pen.

This year’s offering of Charolais and Simmental bulls once again reflects that disciplined approach. The bulls are powerful yet practical — built to add pounds, enhance maternal strength, and maintain the structural correctness commercial cattlemen demand. The fact that High Bluff sells many bulls to lifelong repeat customers speaks volumes. That loyalty is a direct reflection of both the quality of the cattle and the character and service of the Jackson family behind them.

Complementing the bull offering is an outstanding set of Charolais and Simmental open heifers. These exciting females provide a genuine look into the maternal strength behind the program, as many are siblings to the sale bulls. They represent the consistency, udder quality, capacity, and structural soundness that support this entire offering, giving buyers added confidence in the cow families at work.

Also featured are eight Black Angus bulls from Paxhill Farms, offered by Tyler Digby. This group adds further depth to the sale and provides performance-driven Angus options that fit well alongside the High Bluff program.

We encourage you to reach out to anyone from High Bluff Stock Farm to visit about the cattle and discuss which bulls or females best suit your operation. We sincerely hope you can join us on sale day to evaluate this impressive set in person. If you are unable to attend, please contact any member of the team listed in the catalog from Bohrson Marketing, as we would be happy to assist you in any way possible.

Best regards,

The Bohrson Marketing Team

This is the first year that we have No Limits progeny on offer. We have been impressed with their style, grow and disposition right from the beginning. HOMO POLLED, HETERO BLACK

CITYVIEW ICE MAN 30L

We first saw Ice Man alongside his dam in Brandon in our good friends the Barnett’s stall and were intrigued by the good looking blaze bull calf with the beautiful momma cow with a flawless udder beside him. We are really happy with the first set of Ice Man calves for offer and have plans to use him again extensively in our 2026 breeding program. He worked well on a wide variety of females, and has sired a strong set of both bulls and heifers. Knowing what his dam looks like we’re excited to watch the Ice Man females develop. HOMO POLLED, NON DILUTER.

HIGH BLUFF NEW AGE 55N

ICE MAN

HOMO POLLED BY PARENTAGE. Probably the most intriguing of the Iceman sons! The more you analyze this bull the more good you’ll find in him. New Moon is powerfully constructed; robust in his rib dimension, stout in the hip, wide at the base, and covered in awesome hair. This guy’s strongest attribute though just might be the cow family that is behind him; his dam is a beautiful Playmaker daughter out of the legendary Lashes 77B. Love him for the blaze and look, own him for the cow family and reap the rewards down the road on his offspring. Age of dam- 5 58

Age of dam- 4

KWA SLIDER 196H

HIGH BLUFF NEXT IN LINE 61N

We were looking for a bull to AI our Simmental females to and Slider was highly recommended to us. Slider has exceptional calving ease, and at first we worried that the calves were too small for a Manitoba winter. They proved us wrong as they were hairy and lively little things with lots of get up and go that did just fine through the cold snaps. There is a good reason Slider has been so heavily used in the industry; he sires stylish calves with a good mix of calving ease and grow. HOMO POLLED, HETERO BLACK.

HOMO POLLED RC PV 100K Low set with presence and added muscle, Next In Line is stout made and balanced in his build. His dam is a beautiful Walk The Line female with a near-perfect udder. We feel he could confidently be used on heifers or second calvers while still adding muscle and shape. Age of dam- 3

Welcome to the Paxhill Farms Black Angus bull offering for 2026! This is my fourth year of having the great fortune of being able to sell my bulls at the High Bluff sale and words can’t express my gratitude towards the Jackson’s for this great opportunity! The amount of work that goes into putting on a sale like this would be prohibitive for me to do on my own, so thank you Carmen, Donna and family for allowing me to live this dream!

This years offering includes bulls sired by the power house Ellingson Turn Key 0170, the calving ease specialist Ellingson Badlands 0285, the curve bending Pine View Mogul G241, and a really nicely balanced, multi trait Peak Dot Lancaster 26G son that I purchased from the good folks at Glasman Farms. Interesting note on Lancaster, in the spring of 2025 we had an unexpected, and unknown, AI flop and this poor two year old was the clean up bull for the synchronized AI cows…..he had 56 calves born in 2025, so needless to say, this bull knows how to settle cows.

Please accept my invitation to come to our farm to view these bulls, their mothers, siblings and half siblings. I am proud of the herd that calls Paxhill Farms home and am happy to show them off and discuss how they could fit into your program over a cup of coffee.

PAXHILL BADLANDS 10N

When walking through the pen your eyes just can’t help but being drawn to this bull with the undeniable herd bull confidence he exudes. This Badlands son is off a picture perfect Turn Key daughter with a great disposition and tidy udder that exemplifies what we have come to expect from the Turn Key females. From a modest 78 pound birthweight this fellow exploded to have the second highest weight when weaned on Oct. 15 and these real world numbers match his curve bending EPDs. He has excellent depth of body and hind quarters with a bit of that extra Turn Key length. The combination of the proven calving ease of Badlands and Stature with the frame and performance of Turn Key and the Enchantress cow family should make this a high performing heifer safe bull. GESTATION: 278 DAYS HEIFER SAFE

PAXHILL MOGUL 2N

Here is a larger framed bull off the curve bending Mogul, starting off with a 74 pound birthweight he quickly caught up with his peers to wean off as the third largest in the pen. With Baldridge Isabel Y69, one of the top cows in the Angus breed on the top side of his pedigree, and Southern Charm/Excitement on the bottom, maternal greatness in a larger framed package from this bull’s progeny is a given while keeping the birth weights down. Due to the larger frame size throughout this pedigree, I would recommend this bull for larger framed heifers and cows. GESTATION: 274 DAYS

Check out the centre body mass on this Turn Key son! Right from his early days in the calving pen he has been the thickest, deepest, fastest growing in the pen and his own numbers match his breed leading WW and YW EPDs. That growth comes from a combination of his genetics and his maternal powerhouse Southern Charm dam. As a heifer she had a set of twins, raised them both to end up in my replacement pen, and still caught on her AI service to be one of the first to calve the next year and grow him into the bull you see today. Without missing a beat, she caught again to her AI service and calved early this year. Based on that and how much we like the Turn Key dams, I think this is definitely one of those ‘keep every heifer’ bulls while enjoying the bonus paycheques from the big boys he will sire. GESTATION: 277 DAYS

PAXHILL TURN KEY 11N

One of the reasons (and there are many) that I really like the Turn Key offspring is the long, deep body they possess in a really nicely balanced moderate to large height frame. Turn Key 11N is an excellent example of this build. His dam is a beautiful larger framed cow with added calving ease from the Force/Distinction combination, however I would still recommend this bull for cows due to his own birthweight until you see how they come. In my experience the Turn Key calves come very easy for their birthweight due to their length. GESTATION: 281 DAYS

PAXHILL LANCASTER 44N

In 2024 while on the search for my next herd bull, I took a walk through the pen of bulls at Glasman Farms and was really impressed by how good and consistent their Lancaster offspring were. Two years later walking through my own bull and heifer pens I see that same consistency in the many positive attributes this Lancaster son passes onto his offspring. This bull displays the deep side, mild temper, great hair, square feet that we have come to expect in a thick, moderate, easy doing package that he got from his mother. Recommend for cows. MCHENRY LASS 6033

Here is a larger framed Lancaster son with big, well constructed feet, great haircoat and quiet disposition (notice that refrain in these Lancaster sons?). From his dam’s side he gets the sure fire calving ease of SAV Rainfall 6846, and the large frame and exceptional mothering characteristics that we have come to expect from the Excitement daughters. Check out the EPD profile on this guy, and take him home for the opportunity to raise some great front pasture cows out of your heifer pen.

PAXHILL LANCASTER 131N

Normally when the calendar page flips to March, the rubber bands come out for all the bull calves. When I first saw this calf, I began to contemplate just how special the Lucy cow family combined with Lancaster might turn out and we slipped the little green ring back into the tool box. Watching this bull develop into this heavily muscled, early maturing, big crested fellow with that herd bull look to him I’m sure glad he was left intact. He just needed to give his pen mates a month or two head start so he didn’t outgrow them as he sported the highest average daily gain of his contemporary group. Recommended for cows GESTATION: N/A

MCHENRY LASS

Here is another Lancaster son with a Southern Charm twist on the dam’s side making him larger boned, thick and extra deep. Southern Charm daughters have quickly become a favourite of mine and if you have a chance, swing by the farm before sale day and I will show you his mother and you will understand why. The Southern Charm females are extraordinarily deep sided with every one of them having the picture perfect Angus udders. Recommended for cows

Open Heifers

We’re excited to have another strong group of females on offer. We’re proud of our herd of momma cows. We expect them to be sound, productive, efficient, wean in a big calf, have a good disposition and look good while doing it. We try our best to build a strong, consistent and diverse genetic bank. Whether you are looking for a foundation female, junior show prospect or bull builder we think you’ll find something you like.

HIGH BLUFF MISS HOPE 51N

Cow power is the first thing that comes to mind when you lay eyes on Hope 51N. This girl is one high performing girl that does not sacrifice skeletal design or calving ease. Hope has a tremendous amount of depth and substance and looks to be setting up for near perfect udder design.

HIGH BLUFF NATASSIA 110N

Natassia is true sale feature! Every year when it comes to adding females to the sale there is one that you just grit your teeth and say “she’s up for grabs.” A female that we would be ecstatic to have in our own herd and feel that she has all the goods to go on and do great things. The overall mass and explosiveness with her type has the ability to create breed leading sons yet she has that highly maternal look to create females to build a herd around. Sound from the ground up and near flawless in motion. Fun fact- the first “Natasia” female was HBSF 120N a Hank x Jive female who was shown by Fawn at CCYA where she was Reserve Champion Female. Now Natassia is one of our most well-known cow families.

Havana is one elegantly constructed female that carries tremendous length of spine and structural correctness. Are far as the Limitless daughters go it’s hard to part with even one. We are very excited how well Limitless bred for us. Havana’s dam had 9 registered calves in 9 years, all first cycle.

HIGH BLUFF TWINKLE 117N

SPARROWS WALLACE

Twinkle 117N comes from a beautiful young Legit daughter with a near perfect udder. The potential to create a remarkable cow are all wrapped together in this heifer. Twinkle is bold in rib shape and heavy haired.

HRJ MADONNA 183N

SPARROWS WALLACE 34H

KUDOS 2138K

Madonna is the result of mating maternal power and calving ease with ruggedness and performance. 183N’s dam is powerful half French cow with a perfect foot structure that come from the great Gilliland Dispersal. We believe that the Kudos females will have a bright feature with Dandy 960G in their pedigree. Dandy 960G has produced some outstanding sons and finally this year had natural born heifer.

HIGH BLUFF SCHATZI 89N

This is fast becoming one of the most consistent matings on the ranch. Deputy has been used extensively on heifers for the last 6 years and has surpassed all expectations. If you look through the bulls you will find that some the top bulls in the pen come directly from Deputy daughters. Schatzi comes from a great cow family that produces time after time; her grand dam 5E is the mother to Lot 14 (44N) . She has great depth of body and over all softness about her.

HIGH BLUFF NATASSIA 38N

Natassia 38N is a moderate tank of a heifer. She is big topped, big ribbed and stout made. This heifer has bull producer written all over her. The JJ females with calves at side this year look outstanding to say the least. The JJ X 50B combination is creating some very sought offer breeding pieces.

HIGH BLUFF HAIDA 92N

Another big time sale feature! Haida is a beautiful big performance oriented heifer. The JJ females in production this year have laid down some beautiful udders and look like they are going to big time producers. Haida is big bodied, bold in the lower third, sound in motion and great haired. You have to really appreciate this heifer over the top and as an added bonus she has a great disposition.

HRJ BREEZE 122N

POLLED

Breeze is a heifer that a junior could really fall in love with, have some fun with and come out with a solid cow in the end. The Breeze cow family has stood the test of time and worked. A full sister to Breeze sold last year to Jess Hendriks where she was so dearly loved and even made an appearance at the Toronto Royal. Having videos and pictures of heifers we have sold sent to us always makes our day. This heifer should lay down a beautiful udder, and has the muscle mass to produce top end bulls.

HRJ MISS ROXY 197N

Here is a heifer that is so beautifully extended out through that front third. Roxy’s full sister was retained in our herd last year and calved first cycle with an exceptional Lincoln calf. Roxy’s dam is a beautiful and powerful horned Grand Design female that has a stud of a Ballyhoo bull calf at side this year. Here is a heifer that is backed by great producers and will go on and do the same.

HRJ MISS ROXY 163N

Who doesn’t love a tanky horned cow. We say this time and time again our horned cows turn out to be some of the best cows. Roxy 163N is huge middle, so wide across the top and out through that pin set there no way this gal will ever split a rain drop. We love her for foot confirmation, hair and looks like she is going to have a great udder.

HRJ BREEZE 170N

You will be hard pressed to find a heifer as wooly haired as this girl. With that being said hair is only one of the great attributes Breeze 170N has to offer. She is elegant fronted, with a great skull and ear set, bold in rib shape and dimension, strong and wide top and sound on the ground. The Lincoln daughters excite us with their potential.

EGC LASHES 15N

A sale feature! This heifer might just be the most complete of the Simmental offer. Lashes 15N has so much width of base which carries up to a robust skeleton design. She is great in her fore-rib, deep in the flank, stout hipped and has that added muscle pattern.

HIGH BLUFF LASHES 109N

The Iceman females this year were low on numbers but high on quality. Iceman was brought in be a maternal power house and yet with the small sample group we feel he is hitting the mark. Lashes 109N is big volume heifer with great muscle pattern and has a very attractive elegant skull to her.

HIGH BLUFF LASHES 200N

200N is the youngest heifer on offer but has cow power written all over. She has so much softness and depth through out following back to a big quarter and wide hip set. Her dam is a beautiful Lietenant x 77B daughter.

HIGH BLUFF LASHES 181N

A true sale feature. 181N is a heifer that as she matures is becoming harder and harder to part with; she very well could be one of the most interesting simmental heifers we have ever had on offer. Her phenotype is rather remarkable; not often do you get a heifer that is so elegant and extended through her front yet has the big swooping middle in her. Lashes is strong topped, great structured, fluid on the move and has a unique pedigree. We feel 181N could have a bright future with a junior in the show ring. Retaining the right to a future flush at the buyers convenience and the sellers expense.

HIGH BLUFF RED LASHES 37N

Lashes 37N is a rather unique Slider heifer that yet moderate in design is bold in rib shape and width across her top. She is rather neat in her front third; her neck comes high out of her shoulder and topped with an elegant skull design and attentive ear set. Her dam is another beautiful Walk the line daughter. WTL has sired some very attractive young cows in the herd and we’re excited for their future.

HIGH BLUFF JUNO 126N

Juno is a heifer that carries a flash and presence about her that command attention. Level through her top, added depth and wrapped in a heavy coat of hair. Her damn is a stand out Walk the line daughter with a 10 outta 10 udder score.
