We insist all purchases be insured while at Erixon Simmentals. All bulls and females become the risk of the buyer once sold. Erixon Simmentals will provide the utmost care of the animals that return to the farm.

Semen Collection

All bulls will be semen tested, palpated and scrotal measured. Information will be available a few days prior to the sale. Erixon Simmentals Inc. reserves the right to draw semen on any bull at our expense and the new owners convenience.

Guarantee

All animals will carry the standard breeding guarantee as specified by the Canadian Simmental Association. If a problem occurs with your purchase, please notify us as soon as possible. A bull of equal value and quality will be supplied or a credit given towards the purchase of another Erixon bull.

Sight Unseen Program

Every year more bulls are purchased sight unseen because of the increasing number of repeat customers and the fact that people are busy. Please call us or our knowledgeable sales staff and we would be happy to discuss the cattle in detail with you.

U.S. Buyers

Upon successful purchase of a bull, we will assist with the necessary documentation, health exams, brokerage and US custom charges necessary to export your animal to the US. An additional fee of $500 CAN per animal will be charged for this service and is due at time of settlement. Trucking is not included in this amount.

On behalf of Dave, myself, Griffin and Holden, I would like to welcome you, our fellow seed stock producers and commercial cattlemen to the 2026 edition of the Erixon Simmentals Bull Sale. 2026 marks 52 years of the BOBE tattoo. Dave’s dad Bob purchased his first half blood in 1974. That half blood cow is the matriarch of our largest cow family today.

The 2025 fall run was full of enthusiasm, and it’s been a heck of a fun ride! We are excited by the direction the industry is headed and are confident that investing in quality genetics is one of the best ways to position your operation for long term success.

Our cow herd and bulls are on a full herd health and nutrition program through the Corman Park Vet Services, reproduction specialist Dr. Blair Simonson and Beef Smart Nutrition. At weaning the bulls are put out on a grass field west of the yard. The bulls are developed on free choice hay and pail fed after weaning and then slowly transitioned onto a high roughage TMR ration that promotes growth and longevity. We feel that our bulls are well grown out and not carrying anymore condition than needed. They’re sorted into their winter pens by the sale barn mid November.

We have full confidence in our sales staff and this is a free service to you. Your bids will be handled professionally and confidentially. The sale will be broadcast live on dlms. We still highly encourage you to come see the bulls and use the services provided by our trusted sales management. Videos of the bulls will be ready for your viewing in early February. All the pictures were taken in house in December.

If you aren’t utilizing a Darlin’ bull in your herd, you need to. The udder quality of the replacement heifers that you retain in your herd will be beneficial for generations. We have flushed her multiple times over the years and she gets it done every time. We firmly believe she has produced her best set yet with this group of 6 Tommy Gunn sired bulls. If you are after stretch, frame and performance here is one of you. It’s no surprise that he’s off the No Limits sire as that’s exactly how he stamps them. The cool part is that he is red and has the sought after white face.

C-D Mollydooker 1034 is a direct daughter of the great Mollydooker. The udder quality and long proud front end that 1034 carries is exactly what you would expect out of the Tonic x Mollydooker cross. 30N has been a favorite around here since spring time.

This guy is a soggy pound pusher who stands out in the pen. He was a very early maturing bull that has looked the part since last spring. We can’t say enough good things about the Walk The Line sire group.

93N comes to you with extra muscle shape through his quarter and has exceptional hair. His young dam is the result of a flush off our red baldie donor, 31D who we have had great success with.

Good old 513C has raised another highly marketable calf. She has been extremely consistent over the years and we did take the opportunity to do a flush on her in her younger years.

Not too shabby for this ‘A’ model cow. She’s produced 11 calves in her time and the first 2 were heifers and then she proceeded to have 9 bulls. 37N is lengthier than most of his pen mates. That extra stretch and frame equals pounds in the fall.

Calving ease! A real nice set of EPD’s back up this calving ease sire. What a job this first calf heifer has done on this Shamrock bull. He is a nice cross of calving ease and performance.

Tommy Gunn crossed extremely well with our cows. We were able to secure a semen package on him and this will be the first calf crop to sell off of him. 21 sons will sell on March 2! Check out the picture of 33N, he is a true powerhouse!

42N is a true powerhouse. He weighs the scale down, has length and frame to boot. Another large group of Tommy Gunn calves have hit the ground and there will be a good selection for the 2027 sale. We thought very highly of this sire group at a very young age, and we bred a ton of cows back to him.

The Scream cow family is widely known throughout the industry and we have several of them. Who doesn’t love a white faced performance bull?! His dam, 202E ranks amongst the top cows on the farm. She truly is a beauty. Last year her baldie bull was a sale feature and a high seller.

40G knows how to raise bulls! This is her forth bull calf and they always stand at the top of the pen. The Stratton calves are soggy made and attractive. We don’t think that you could wrong with adding this Stratton son to your bull battery.

48N is a dark red, well put together bull that will work on a variety of cows. His dam comes from a long line of crimson red colored cows and that should continue with this bull. He is extremely dark hided.

What a bull this fella is! He is my favorite Walk The Line bull in the sale. The WTL sire group has extra muscle shape and spring of rib. A full sister just sold at Border City to Open Shaw Farms for $23,000. 140H knows how to punch out the good ones.

Here is a son of the calving ease specialist Shamrock. There is lots to appreciate and like about 102N, he is a very complete and would work wonders on a young group of cows. Being out of Shamrock there is some built in calving ease, but he is pushing the limits to call a true calving ease heifer bull. He is a heavy weight with a 1548 lb adjusted yearling weight. Not too shabby for being off a first calf heifer! He’s out of a stunner of cow who is dark red just like him.

Erixon Lady 94Z had more than proven herself with 9 natural calves on the ground when she entered our flush program. One of her highlights would be her granddaughter, Crossroads Frankie 68F who resided at Canadian Donors and has recently sold in The Mother Load sale. In December we sold another maternal sib in Border City for $18,500 to Open Shaw Farms. The boys also showed a heifer calf off her this summer. The foot quality and condition she carries for a cow of 13 is amazing. The picture of her was taken this summer. She is due to calve again just after this catalogue goes to print. We have 7 maternal brothers here. 4 June born bulls that have some extra grow and will cover a few more cows and then the 3 yearlings.

A full sister to 6N calved in early January and looks stunning. These No Limits bulls are fast growing boys with added length of body. This homo black herdsire prospect checks many boxes and has a standout cow family backing him.

55G is a gorgeous uddered Capacity daughter that is big bodied and easy on the eyes. The Capacity females have proven themselves time and time again to be highly maternal cows. The Capacity x No Limits cross worked out exceptionally, 2 full brothers have been high sellers in the past years. Calving Ease! Slider has been widely used across the country on heifers with great success. Pick up these calving ease black bulls when you can and capture the added weaning weights. 101N has a small skull and is a lower set bull that is easy feeding. His numbers show him as a real curve bender of a bull. Lots of calving ease, but punching in some big weaning and yearling numbers. He posted a 1413 lb yearling weight and is top 15% for CE, 10% for WW and 10% for YW.
