Welcome to our 8th Annual Bull Sale!
Our family would like to welcome everyone to our 8th Annual Bull Sale. We sincerely thank everyone for all the support!
It seems like a never-ending challenge to keep on top of things in agriculture. With little rain in the area, drought seems to be the struggle. With plenty of snow throughout the Peace Country we feel optimistic though that there are better times ahead.
Our main goal is to raise cattle that go out and work for you. Therefore, customer satisfaction is high on our to do list and we continue to strive to raise top end cattle that are practical and functional. With prices where they’re at, it’s of every cattleman’s best interest to raise as many pounds per acre as possible.
It's exciting to see what the famous Erica 74A cow has done for the angus industry, with her offspring being sought after far and wide. It’s exciting to be able to offer you some of her reputable genetics and others, like Red Bar-E-L AB Meg 169Z, at this sale. With the amount of man hours going into cattle, you may as well spend time on the good ones.
The bulls graze on grass pasture throughout the summer months with a complete mineral package, and brought home in the fall. They are then fed a balanced diet of barley/corn silage, mixed with roughage and oats and a 16% pellet from Country Junction to achieve modest gains. The bulls don’t get pushed as we feel that takes the longevity out of them. Our bulls are on a full herd health program, getting vaccinated in the spring and fall. We are working towards getting all our purebred stock parent verified within the next few years. As always, we stand behind what we sell guaranteed, so should you have any problems feel free to reach out to us.

Terms & Conditions
Terms Terms of the sale are cash or cheque. All settlements must be made before any animals are released.
Disputes The auctioneer shall control the bidding at all times. In case of disputes the Auctioneer’s decision shall be final.
Purchaser’s Risk Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. Insurance will be available sale day.
Announcements Announcements from the auction stand will take precedence over any printed matter. Accidents: All precautions possible will be taken to protect the safety of our buyers. Vold, Jones Vold Auction Mart, Dawson Creek nor any owner assumes responsibility in this matter and disclaims any liability, legal or otherwise, in the event of accidents or loss of property.
Breeding Guarantees All bulls will be palpated,scrotal measured and semen tested prior to sale day by a licensed veterinarian.Any bull with a deferred score will be noted on sale day.However the seller is not responsible for damage caused by foreign objects after the bull has been sold nor sickness that was not apparent at the time of the sale.Bulls that are not breeders need to be reported immediately.As always we will guarantee the bulls.
Certificate of registry A certificate of registry duty transferred to the buyer will be furnished for each registered animal after settlement is made.
Rights & Obligations The above terms and conditions of the bull sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and seller and be equally binding to both. The seller has privilege of making one bid.
Shipping Receive $100 off on bulls picked up sale day, assistance may be given in making shipment after the sale,but no risk is assumed by the seller. Any additional expenses incurred are the responsibility of the purchaser. Purchasers are required to provide shipping instructions when making settlement.Insurance is recommended for bulls returning to the ranch.Bulls will be delivered free of charge by the end of April.
Retained Interest Seller reserves the right to collect “Owner’s Use” semen from any bull in this sale (at the seller’s expense and at the buyer’s convenience).

The VJV Livestock Marketing Group has had the opportunity to market Crestland Farms influenced calves now for a few years and feedlot buyers have been impressed with the length, depth and thickness of these calves.
The Harms Family has been excellent to work with and truely stand behind their genetics. They have spent a lot of time researching the Angus breed, their traits, listening to industry and past buyers to continually improve their bull offering each year.
