On behalf of the Athabasca District Clubs, We would like to welcome and invite you to the 2026 Athabasca 4-H District Beef Show & Sale. Our members have worked incredibly hard over the past eight months to produce top quality beef projects for our buyers.

We are very proud of each member for their dedication, time, and effort they have put into their projects. The show and sale is their opportunity to shine and showcase all they have accomplished through their hard work and commitment.

This year the Athabasca 4-H District is proud to offer 27 premium steers to our buyers. The Sale will also be available online through DLMS, allowing buyers to participate from anywhere. We look forward to seeing you at the show and sale, and we sincerly appreciate your continued support of our 4-H members and clubs.

Good afternoon, and welcome to the Athabasca District Beef Achievement Day. The Boyle 4-H Beef Club would like to thank everyone for coming out to support local youth in agriculture. This year, our club has 13 outstanding steers available for purchase. Your support helps our members develop leadership, responsibility, and lifelong skills through the 4-H program. We truly appreciate your support and hope you enjoy the sale!

My name is Hadassah Epp, this is my 7 th year in 4-H and I am the president of the Athabasca 4-H Beef Club. I am thrilled to welcome you to our beef Achievement Day on June 1 st , 2026 taking place at the Iceberg Arena. My club has a variety of market steers available for purchase. There are also female projects and cleaver projects that will be shown. Feel free to come out and enjoy our show and stay for the sale. I am an Intermediate Member and this is my 5th year in 4-H. My projects this year are Market Steer and Breeding Heifer. Interests: I enjoy dirt biking, quadding, hunting, and baseball.

Most memorable 4-H moment: My first year in 4-H we went paintballing and that was the best moment of my 4-H career.

Future Plans: I plan to go to college and get my Heavy Duty Mechanic and work in the oilfield and farm.

I am a Senior Member and this is my 8th year in 4-H. My Projects this year include Market Steer and Breeding Heifer

Most Memorable 4-H Moment: Winning Overall Female with my cow a few years back.

Future Plans: College for Vet Tech.

I am an Intermediate Member and this is my 4th year in 4-H. My projects are Market Steer and Breeding Heifer. Interests: I am interested in building homemade houses and playing baseball.

Most Memorable 4-H Moment: When I went to Regionals for Public Speaking. Future Plans: To build houses and sell them.

Zaya Stewart - Athabasca

I am a Junior Member and this is my 3 year in 4-H. My project this year is a Market Steer named Manny.

Interests: Quading, 4-H, Being Outside, and Drawing.

Most Memorable 4-H Moment: When we went sledding for our Christmas party.

Future Plans: Cattle farming when I get older.

Sofia Rosich - Boyle

I am a Senior Member and this is my 2 year in 4-H My project this year is a Market Steer named Bingo nd Interests: Anything agricultural including farming, ranching, and rodeo.

Most memorable 4-H Moment: When David, Dean, Mark and Tyson Splane came over to help my sister and I halterbreak last year, Talk about a Rodeo!

Future Plans: Attend Lakeland College in Vermillion to Study Equine Science and Technology

I am a Intermediate Member and this is my 1 year in 4-H. My project this year is Market Steer.

Interests: I like to hunt, quad, and weld. Most memorable 4-H Moment: When I had my first weigh in and saw all the calves and how it worked.

Future Plans: To go to college and become a red seal lineman.

I am a Junior Member and this is my 1 year in 4-H. My projects this year include a Market Steer and Sewing.

I am a Senior Member and this is my 4 year in 4-H. My projects this year are Market Steer, Carcass Steer, and Breeding Heifer. th Interests: Going to cattle shows in the summer as well as spending time with family and friends.

Most Memorable 4-H Moment: Making the end of the year recap with Emmie. Future Plans: To go to college to pursue a degree in Vet Medicine.

Future Plans: Going to College to be a dentist After college I plan to make alot of money so that I can take my parents on Vacation.

Interests: Farming, Hardwork and Manual Labour, Spending time with God and studying my Bible.

Most Memorable 4-H Moment: Winning Grand Champion Livestock Judging at Regionals

Future Plans: Attend Lakeland College for the Beef Science Major Diploma, then go to Millar College of the Bible.

Nora Breckenridge - Athabasca

I am a Senior Member and this is my 5 year in 4-H. My projects this year are Market Steer and Cow Calf.

Most Memorable 4-H Moment: When I bought my first cow calf pair and raised the steer calf up. He was my biggest steer weighing 1444 lbs, best calf I’ve ever had

Interests: Farming, Riding Horses, and Snowmobiling.

Most Memorable 4-H Moment: My 2024 Market Steer Hurricane. He was a beautiful Purebred Simmental Steer that had a great personality.

Most memorable 4-H Moment: My first show day where I sold my first steer and got my first paycheck.

Future Plans: Going to Trade School to get my Welding Journeyman, and hopefully get a job at Al-Pac

Most Memorable 4-H Moment: When my Steer was sooo loud in the ring.

Future plans: To go to college to be a Vet Tech.

Henry Farrell - Athabasca

I am a Junior Member and this is my 2 year in 4-H. My projects this year are Market Steer and Breeding Heifer. nd Interests: Animals, Hunting, and Skidooing in the winter.

Most Memorable 4-H Moment: When my Steer Dump Truck won Reserve Grand Champion.

Future Plans: I plan to go to BC this summer to pick cherries.

Jaci Attfield - boyle

I am a Senior Member and this is my 7 year in 4-H My Projects this year are Market Steer, Breeding Heifer, and Cow Calf Pair. th Interests: Horses, Farmimg, Art, Crafts, Intarsia, and Being Outside

Most Memorable 4-H Moment: Mother/Daughter 4-H trips (where she usually embarrasses me) and spending time with 4-H Friends.

Future Plans: Work and save money to go to school.

Kaylee Kanarek - Athabasca

I am an Intermediate Member and this is my 3 year in 4-H. My project this year is a Market Steer named Apollo. rd Interests: Sports, Guitar, and Reading. Most Memorable 4-H Moment: Placing at Regional Public Speaking.

Future Plans: Stay in 4-H until I head to college and to win an award.

Tyson Splane - boyle

I am an Intermediate Member and this is my 4 year in 4-H. My project this year is a Market Steer named Buck. th Interests: Hunting, Fishing, Skidooing, and Farming.

Most memorable 4-H Moment: When my steer stepped on my foot the day before show and then the other foot at show.

Future Plans: To farm with my dad and brothers.

Most Memorable 4-H Moment: Going to Regional Presentations 2 years in a row.

Future Plans: Attend Lakeland College in Lloyd starting fall to take my Bachelor of Science. Then to UC to be a Veterinarian.

Jase Bartley - Boyle

I am an Intermediate Member and this is my 4 year in 4-H. This year my projects are Market Steer and Breeding Heifer. th Interests: Hunting, Fishing, MMA, Watching Wrestling, and Animals.

Most memorable 4-H Moment: Highway clean up with all of the laughs and getting ice cream afterwards.

Future Plans: To become a mechanic while farming with my brother

Alexis Paradis - athabasca

I am Senior Member and this is my 10 year in 4-H. My projects this year are Market Steer, Breeding Heifer, and Cow Calf Pair. th Interests: Barrel Racing, Riding Horses, Sports, Working with Animals.

Most Memorable 4-H Moment: Winning my first buckle last year for my Heifer project. Future Plans: To become an Equine Therapy Technician through Lakeland College specializing in PEMF therapy.

I am a Senior Member and this is my 7 year in 4-H. My project this year is a Market Steer. th

Interests: Skidooing, Farming, and Welding.

Most Memorable 4-H Moment: When I won Grand Champion for the first time. Future Plans: To start and carry on our family farm with my family.

oakley stewart - athabasca

I am an Intermediate Member and this is my 5 year in 4-H. This year my Project is a Market Steer named Syd.

Interests: Sledding, Dirtbiking, Baseball, and Grain Farming.

Most memorable 4-H Moment: Getting knocked out by my Steer the first year I was in 4-H.

Future Plans: To go to college for agronomy and to take over the family Farm.
