This will be the biggest sale to date proudly offering over one hundred lots. The sale has not only grown in quantity, but in quality and notoriety as well. Cattle demand remains high in the United States and beyond as our nations cow herd is at its lowest level since the 1950’s. As cattle and beef prices rise due to our inventory situation, the consumer is going to demand a higher quality more consistent product. The Wagyu Breed is uniquely positioned to meet the demand by offering a well marbled consistent cut of beef. The high quality beef coupled with the built in calving ease makes Wagyu a perfect cross on today’s commercial cow herd as well. Take advantage of today’s cattle market. Once in a Lifetime Offering for the exclusive rights for the cell lines for FB9978 - Kaedemaru. Born on January 1, 1995, she is one of the last living original imports from Japan. “Kaedemaru” is sired by “Dai 10 Mitsumaru”, thought to be perhaps one of the greatest Akaushi sires ever. Her dam is none other then “Dai 3 Namiaki”, who herself is another original import from Japan sired by “Dai 10 Eihou” x out of a “Shigeharu” dam x out of a “Ryumei” grand dam (Ryumei is also the sire of FB101 - Rueshaw). “Kaedemaru” herself is known for being the dam of FB9979 - WSI Umemaru. LOT 3 Here we have a cow that has all three of World K’s “Big Three” in the pedigree. The cow familes of the famed Suzutani, Okutani, and Rikitani are all present in this powerful Black pedigree. Fujiko 2 is sired by Hirashigaru-FB11816 (a Hirashigetayasi from a full sister to Shigeshetani). A large framed, high growth sire with extreme marbling. The dam of Fujiko 2 is sired by Genjiro-FB5200 (a full brother to Beiirou-FB2289 and a full sister to Fujiko-FB1984). Most times a Red Wagyu sire is bred to a Black Wagyu cow-this is a unique lot with a Black sire being bred on a Fullblood maternal line. The dam of “WSI Hinoharu” is a Fullblood Red Wagyu from Sekai’s “Naomi Family”-see is sired by Shigemaru. The maternal grand dam, Momigimaru-FB10979-is sired by the great Japanese Red Sire, “Namimaru”-FB373. Both the maternal grand dam and the great grand dam, “Naomi” were both direct imports from Kumamoto, Japan. WSI Hinoharu is sired by Kitano Yasufuku-FB10982 (a Yasufuku Jr. grandson from the famed Okutani Family). “Kitanon Yasufuku’s” maternal grandma is s full sister to World K’s Beijirou-FB2289 (semen from this sire was sold out a $200/dose) And to Fujiko-FB1984 (cell lines from this cow sold for $25,000 in previous Steaks are High Sale). If it’s one thing the U.S. Wagyu herd needs, it’s a broader genetic base. With a half Kumamoto and half Fujiyoshi pedigree, here’s an excellent donor prospect to help do just that. Donor is our super cow #10, whose embryos were the top sellers in the 2013 sale. She ranks high in our herd for strength, depth, and muscling. Her sire, Takeda’s Itoshigenami 148, is the only foundation bull from the famous “Nami” line, which some breeders regard as the best Tajima sub-strain due to the fineness of the marbling and meat texture. The sire of these embryos is our impressive black Rueshaw son, #65, half-brother to the #1 marbling Wagyu (an astonishing Avg. Prime) & Grand Champion Red Bull at the 2014 Houston Livestock Show. His pedigree blends the rare genetics of his Japanese National Red Champion sire with stellar carcass quality in his dam’s lineage, which includes Sanjirou and Kitateruyasudoi. With a balance of 50% Tajima, 31% Kumamoto red, & 19% Fujiyoshi genetics, there was a low (1%) inbreeding coefficient in this mating. The highly desirable traits from these bloodlines and the superb conformation of the sire and dam will produce top quality females. Five embryos out of a daughter of Itomichi, ½ of that has a Fukutsuru and Takazakura on the dam side. This heifer was purchased at “The Steaks are High” sale in 2012 and produced 28 embryos on her very first flush. The sire of these embryos is Heart Brand Red emperor, a proven red bull with a track record of both high marbling and growth. This combination will yield terrific genetics to add to any herd. The dam tested free from recessive disorders and the sire is recessive disorder free by pedigree.

Select the registration form for Superior Productions and print the registration form, fill it out and fax it in to Superior Productions at (817) 378-3380 with a signature on it. You can also mail it in to the address provided on the form. Upon receipt of this information Superior will call you with a buyer’s number and the bid line phone number that you will use on sale day to place bids over the phone. Click-To-Bid. This is Superior’s newest way to buy livestock! Please note that high speed internet is required – this is not for dial-up or satellite internet. Registration is free, but you must become a member of www.superiorclicktobid.com to sign up. Becoming a member is easy – just go to the homepage of www.superiorclicktobid.com and follow the out-lined steps to get started. Input your information and select a username and password. You will receive an e-mail confirming you are a member. From that point forward you just have to sign in and select the sale you would like to register for and once approved you will receive an e-mail confirming which sale you are now registered for.
