FAQs
Will you accept my prescription insurance plan?
We accept most prescription insurance plans and can directly bill your prescription to your insurance provider. You are responsible for any copay required by your insurance carrier when your medications are delivered.
What if I cannot afford my medications?
My CHS Rx representatives can connect you with resources to help lower your prescription drug costs.

How My CHS Rx works
• Tell your physician to e-prescribe your medications to My CHS Rx.
• Prescriptions will be verified and filled at My CHS Rx. If you are currently admitted to a Catholic Health hospital, your discharging physician will submit the prescription.
• Education will be provided to help you better understand and follow your medication treatment plan.
• Doctors, office staff and/or pharmacy staff will discuss and resolve medication issues with you, such as medications not covered by insurance, before you leave the hospital or doctors office.

Mercy Medical Center Pharmacy provides medications for rare or complex conditions. These medications usually require special storage and handling and may not be available at your local pharmacy. They are injected, taken by mouth or infused.
Services include prescriptions and refills, home delivery of medications (via courier), patient management program, insurance coordination, medication education and more.

Home Infusion
Home Infusion Therapy is a convenient alternative to extended inpatient stays. Patients who opt for home infusion can receive treatments in the comfort of their homes or in a streamlined infusion suite. Our experts, including pharmacists, nurses and nutritionists, work alongside your medical team to ensure a seamless transition from hospital/clinic to home without disrupting your care. Our goal is to make your infusion therapy process convenient and comfortable.
