Statement of need Technologies and treatment continue to evolve in stroke care. It is the intent of this educational and informational conference to increase physician and clinician knowledge and awareness so they may learn up-to-date diagnostic and interventional approaches and techniques in the diagnosis and management of stroke and neurological disorders thus leading to better patient outcomes.
Objectives • Summarize the medical management and AHA/ ASA guidelines for management and treatment of ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke. • Review management of cerebral venous thrombosis and latest technology. • Identify secondary prevention of ischemic stroke including medical management and carotid revascularization. • Define management of hemorrhagic stroke patients. • Discuss the journey of the stroke patient.
