Friday 26 July 5.30pm First drink free, then stay for the Connection Sundowner. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CLASS OF 2023 CONNECTION SUNDOWNER BY THE LAGOON

Friday 26 July 6pm-9pm

The Cathedral School congratulates the Class of 2023 on their outstanding results. We were pleased to welcome them back to school for a BBQ lunch on 6 February (unfortunately delayed due to Cyclone Kirrily so attendance was less than normal). However we proceeded with the presentation of subject prizes and the award of School Dux went to Austin Park who achieved an ATAR or 99.75 – a very impressive result from a truly humble and well-respected student. Some particular points of note from this cohort of students are:

Bus service will run into city

MORNING TEA & SCHOOL TOUR

Saturday 27 July – Morning tea at 9.30am; Tour at 10am. REUNION LUNCHEON

Saturday 27 July 12pm – 2pm. Relax over a lazy lunch with friends under the rain tree on the Function

median ATAR of 85.65 78.2% of QLD tertiary applicants received their first preference. 97.6% of the cohort received a QCE. 64% of graduates also received a vocational qualification.

The Cathedral School prides itself on pathways suited to each individual, and the diversity of future careers from this cohort is testament to this. We look forward to hearing of the successes of their next phase in the years to come. WELCOME TO OUR NEW SCHOOL PRINCIPAL On Tuesday 30 January, we held the Commissioning Service for our new Principal, Mr Luke Baills. I was very privileged to represent all Past Students in the part of the service where Luke pledged to help the PSA promote the school and build links with past and present students. We welcome Luke, his wife Steph, and their two children Cooper (Year 6) and Emerson (Year 4) and look forward to working together for the betterment of the school in the years ahead.
