Conservancy Times is a bi-annual publication of the Catalina Island Conservancy, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1972 to protect and restore Catalina Island for present and future generations to experience and enjoy. We are thrilled to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the non-profit Catalina Island Conservancy. In this issue we commemorate half a century of fulfilling the promise that the Wrigley and Offield families made in 1972 when they founded the Conservancy - to be a responsible steward of our lands through a balance of conservation, education and recreation.
