GOODBYE SUMMER, HELLO AUTUMN Autumn is the time of “…hot chocolatey mornings, and toasty marshmallow evenings, and, best of all, leaping into leaves!” (thank you Winnie the Pooh). We didn’t get to enjoy the toasting of marshmallows for our 10th anniversary EO Day celebrations, however we enjoyed other exciting activities which you can find out more about on page 5. As an employee-owned values-based organisation, we set high standards for our own governance and practice what we preach. We regularly publish articles to raise awareness of how we’re working to tackle relevant issues, such as the gender inclusivity of the investment management

industry (page 4), greenwashing (page 3) or how we can work to tackle modern slavery (page 3). It’s one of the reasons why we’re known as the Thoughtful Investor®. We also publish featured stocks as a way to demonstrate how our authentic and sustainable investment approach works in practice. These are case studies of investments that have successfully passed our stringent screening policy and also align to our positive investment themes. You can see the latest ones on page 4. As the Thoughtful investor® we’re very conscious of helping clients to use their money for positive change. Increasingly, clients have been asking us about how they can make a difference with their money via charitable giving. Besides leaving money

to charities in a will, clients also want to know how they can donate more while they’re still alive - so Nathan Cameron, they can see, Manager, Marketing and enjoy, some Communications of the benefits of doing so. We recently partnered with The Charity Service to launch a simple yet meaningful way for clients to develop their philanthropy.
