Supporting Modern Family Life The reimagined school day has been designed not only for children, but also for families. Flexible Start and Finish Times Breakfast Club and wraparound care provide additional flexibility before and after school. Activities Included in the School Day By integrating enrichment into the timetable, children can access more opportunities as part of their everyday school experience. Extended Care Until 6pm Children can remain happily engaged in a warm, supervised environment until 6pm when required. Additional Transport Provision An afternoon minibus service and demand-led later transport options provide greater flexibility for families.

Looking Ahead From September 2026, the reimagined school day will provide even more opportunities for children to think, create and lead. Frequently Asked Questions Will academic standards change? No. Academic teaching time remains unchanged. Will pupils still have choice? Yes. Pupils will continue to choose from a broad range of activities. Will early-morning clubs continue? Yes. Will there be transport available? Yes. Afternoon and demand-led late services will operate.
