Géante Rouge (Red giant) was commissioned by Radio France for the Festival Présences 2021 presented in homage to the composer Pascal Dusapin. The world premiere of this work will be at the Grande salle Pierre Boulez at the Paris Philharmonic performed by the Orchestre Philharmonique of Radio France, conducted by Alain Altinoglu. This work is inspired by a childhood memory of the composer and her connection with the giant star Betelgeuse.
