The City of Love was commissioned by VANITAS and first performed by them in a cutting edge tour in York,April 2002 with Lore Lixenberg (voice),Zoe Martlew (‘cello) and Dominic Saunders (piano)
This version for voice,violin and piano, premiered in November 2006 at Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival by Lore Lixenberg (Voice),David Alberman (violin) and Rolf Hind (piano).
