RULESET AND GLOBAL STRUCTURE

Round 1 At time 00:00 Trumpet starts – immediately followed by French Horn, then by Trombone – picking one of the 4 models A-D; after repeating the model n times as indicated (4x means play four times) select another model, resulting in any permutation, till all 4 models have been played; if time allows, start the round anew. As soon as all players are finished, move to the next round immediately, without any gap. If one player is in the middle of a model at switch time: play till the end of that model, then pick one model from the next round. This section should not last longer than 00:02:10 seconds (cued by stopwatch).

Suggestions for a conducted version: the conductor cues the attacks of the rounds; in sequential entrances he/she also cues the entrance of each instrument; correction of dynamics is possible (if the overall result is too loud).
