thank yous Dr. James Ripley for everything he’s done the last 4 years. His guidance, kindness, and wisdom are and will always be invaluable to me. He is a light for all musicians that pass through this school. Scott Tegge for teaching me how to let go and just play music. He taught me to make music come alive and that to be a great musician, you have to start by being a great person. Work ethic and passion come from within and I’ll always remember that. Dr. Kawakami for his boundless kindness towards all. He cares for everyone and everything and is deeply inspiring to me. He sparked my love for orchestral music and is the reason why I love arranging for strings. My grandmother for her love and compassion. She is the most loving and caring person I’ve ever known and will ever know. Lastly, my girlfriend. Without her, nothing would have ever gotten done. She pushes me to be the best person I can be and I can’t thank her enough for that.
