This is a selection of newspaper articles from Newspapers.com (and one YouTube video reference), regarding the late Melvin P. Sikes, Ph.D. during the 1970s. In the early 1980s, I worked for Mel as his part-time assistant in the College of Education at The Universitiy of Texas at Austin, while I was attending graduate school (Work Study Program). I helped him wrap-up his work as he moved into retirement as a Professor Emeritus at UT Austin. We became friends for the remaining years of life. Mel passed in 2012.
