ber Growth

For more than 25 years, Haywood EMC has seen its membership growth each year. Nearly all this growth can be attributed to residential accounts as Western North Carolina’s communities continue to grow with new home builds. The operations and engineering team at Haywood EMC has planned for this growth and worked to improve and grow the infrastructure to take on more load remaining reliable while and affordable. These new plans have taken shape with system upgrades along transmission in substations, and lines, along major circuits.
