Camp Essentials Please ensure your camper arrives wearing comfortable clothing and sneakers that they are able to run around in, as well as a hat or visor to block them from the sun, a bathing suit, and a towel. Sports camps may require additional items, such as golf clubs or tennis racquets, which will be indicated as needed. Be sure to apply sunscreen prior to drop-off. The counselors will reapply throughout the day, but it will help start the day faster if your camper arrives ready. Please make sure that all of your camper’s belongings are labeled so that we can easily return lost items. Please do not send your child with any valuables (phones, video games, jewelry, etc.).

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Camp drop-off will be between 8:45am - 9:00am at the Pool front gate and pick-up will be at the Pool front desk each day unless otherwise noted. If your camper arrives after 9:00am, we ask that parents meet the camp group at the appropriate area. You will receive a detailed email prior to the start of camp with the schedule for each day. Please let our team know if your child is going home with someone else, or if there are any other arrangements that vary from the routine that we should be made aware of. Campers will not be released to unauthorized adults. There will be a check-out sheet and parents, or those picking up, will need to see the Camp Director to confirm your child’s pick-up. Please be on time for camp pick-up. There will be an additional $20 fee that will be applied to pick-ups 30 minutes after the end of camp or failure to sign out with the Camp Director.

Safety & Behavior Campers are expected to follow established camp rules and verbal instructions from their counselors at all times. Campers should be polite and respectful to each other, the camp counselors, the Golf/Tennis Pros, and all of the Carmel Team Members. Carmel Country Club reserves the right to dismiss any camper whose behavior interferes with the program or endangers his/herself or others. Refunds will not be given if a camper is dismissed. Our policies follow the Redbook rules and regulations.

Cancellation Policy All cancellations must be made at least two weeks in advance of the session that the camper is signed up for or charges will still apply. Please note that Carmel does not prorate camps as each camp is specifically designed for the number of campers registered each week and we cannot substitute more campers after a session begins. All cancellations must be made through the point of contact for your camp session. We appreciate your understanding of this policy! Family Guest Policy Please note that campers are allowed one family guest (ex. grandchildren or cousins) per session to prioritize members’ access to camps. If you have a family guest that you want to register, please contact the Camp Director directly. We thank you in advance for your understanding!

Sick Policy In an effort to prioritize the health and safety of our campers, we ask that any camper or counselor presenting with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher, or exhibiting flu-like symptoms, stay home until their temperature returns to a normal range and they are feeling better for at least 48 hours without fever-reducing medication.

Miscellaneous If your child has any dietary restrictions, please let us know during registration so that we can make sure to have options for them to enjoy. If your child has any allergies, in addition to letting us know during registration, we ask that you also let the Camp Director know prior to camp so that we can be prepared in case of an emergency. If your child will be bringing snacks to camp, please make sure that they are nut-free to respect other campers’ allergies. Should a child require emergency medical attention, the counselor will contact 911 and a parent/guardian will be called immediately. Any minor injury that occurs during the day will be addressed at the time of pick-up with the parent/guardian. Please be sure to include an emergency contact when registering.

Junior Programs Registration Junior Programs allows you to easily make reservations for camps, clinics, and programs for your children, so you can manage your family’s calendar with ease. One of the best parts? You can quickly register multiple children at once for different camps! Registration for all summer camps and clinics will be done through Junior Programs. To make the process easier, you can see screenshots below of how to use the registration set up. We recommended making reservations on a desktop or tablet.

You can navigate to Junior Programs through your profile drop down or by going to a sport or event specific page. We recommend using the profile drop down to see all of the programming available.

When you open Junior Programs, you will see all of the options available along with the specific sections if applicable. For example, Camp Carmel drops down to reveal the age groups available for all four weeks of camp.

If you need to register a grandchild, a guest or another member, please contact the respective camp coordinator directly. Youth - Carly Scheve, cscheve@carmelcountryclub.org Golf - Brian Robinson, brobinson@carmelcountryclub.org Tennis - Clark Howell, chowell@carmelcountryclub.org

If you have more than one child, you will need to select which child will be attending the session. If both children are eligible to attend, you can select both names to register them together. On the next step, you will be asked to fill in information for each child such as allergies or shirt size.

Take a moment to review the policies and rules for each camp and initial the bottom to continue. You cannot complete registration without signing the disclaimer forms.

Before you finish, you’ll be prompted to review the registrations for each child. Once you have reviewed and confirmed these, simply click complete to finalize your registration. You will now be able to see these under “My Reservations.” If you need to make edits to these, please contact the Club directly by calling (704) 945-9630!

Hi Carmel Families! I can’t believe I am getting ready for my fourth summer here at Carmel, and I couldn’t be more excited! Each year brings new energy, new ideas, and unforgettable memories with our campers. I’m especially thrilled to launch a brand-new Tween Camp Carmel this summer—created just for older members who are ready for something a little different and extra fun. Our goals for all of our camps are to create a safe, fun, and welcoming environment where campers can make friends and enjoy the very best parts of summer!

I am extremely excited for my 13th summer at Carmel! Summer is always a favorite to me as the club is buzzing with our mini members doing all the activities. My love for the sport and coaching has always motivated me to give my best to the tennis program, and it’s rewarding to see it continue to thrive. We look forward to our spring and summer tennis programs and camps and teaching your children the game of a lifetime!

I’m excited to be entering my fourth year as part of the Carmel team and my second year leading our junior golf program full-time. Working with junior golfers has been a focus of mine throughout my time at Carmel, and I’m truly passionate about growing the game and helping young players build a lifelong love for golf. We are heading into our second year of the Carmel Futures program, which builds on the Operation 36 model and teaches the game from the greens backwards, providing juniors with a strong foundation through an enhanced, long-term development curriculum. I’m proud to play a role in developing the next generation of Carmel golfers and look forward to another great season ahead!

Camp Carmel Experience the ultimate summer adventure at Camp Carmel! Perfect for children ages 4 - 10, our program offers golf and tennis lessons, designed to build skills and confidence in a fun and supportive environment. Beyond sports, campers can enjoy a variety of activities like arts and crafts, special camp rotations, team challenges and plenty of time at the pool! With something for everyone, Camp Carmel is the perfect place to make new friends, stay active, and create lifelong memories.
