Agroup of family members and friends from Indianapolis reunites to bury a long-awaited time capsule. But when the cherished items they planned to preserve mysteriously disappear, their reunion takes an unexpected turn. As they set out to track down the missing keepsakes, old memories resurface, secrets unravel, and emotions run high. What begins as a simple search quickly becomes a heartfelt journey filled with laughter, drama, and twists you won’t see coming.
This production was developed over six months by our inclusive theater ensemble, featuring neurodivergent actors who collaboratively created the original script and characters. Presented during Disability Awareness Month, this performance celebrates creativity, inclusion, and the power of storytelling.
The director team would like to give their sincerest thanks to the supportive families of the cast and crew. It takes a village to make theater magic, and we are grateful for all of you for being a part of our village.
Our participants have really taken a strong role in creating this entire production from start to finish. All participants were asked at the beginning of the show’s practices back in September what they believed they did best whether that was painting sets, designing what the scenes will look like, or coming up with details for the story. Our director team really wanted to give the participants as much opportunity as possible to shine and show off their skills! Each character was created by the participants as well as their monologues throughout the show.
