The city will provide a work plan and safety training at the start of each trail work event along with tools and water. Please wear proper protective clothing, such as closed-toe shoes and gloves.

The City of Carlsbad is looking for dedicated trail volunteers to assist in preserving, maintaining and protecting the citywide trail system by attending trail maintenance events.
The city currently has approximately 67 miles of trails with long term plans for adding more trails and maximizing the current trail system. By becoming a trail volunteer you will:
• Attend at least three trail events per year
• Gain trail maintenance experience
• Learn about our unique coastal environment
• Socialize with other like-minded community members
• Provide community service and have fun
