NEW Cloud Storage and Backup (Nov. 12)
This class will provide an overview of cloud-based storage solutions (e.g. iCloud, Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox). Our instructor, Mike McMahon, will discuss the use of cloud storage/backup for both computers and mobile devices. How much cloud storage do you need? How much are you currently using? Should you pay for more storage? If you are asking yourself any of these questions, this class is for you.
NEW Which Map App is Best? (Nov. 19)
Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze – which mapping app is best for you? Our instructor, Mike McMahon, will cover the basics of each of these amazing apps in this class. These apps are updated often - even if you use one or more of these apps now, you are sure to pick up a few handy tips. Both iPhone and Android smartphone users will find this class informative and fun.

Carlsbad Cruisers Walking Club

Move towards health and wellness while having fun and making new friends. Wear comfortable shoes, a hat, and sunscreen. Any location changes will be sent via email. Tuesdays: Meet at the West entrance of the Carlsbad Senior Center for a stroll around Carlsbad Village. Thursdays: Trail walk around Batiquitos Lagoon.

Congregate Lunch Service
60+ years: $3.50 suggested voluntary contribution *
Guests 50–59 years: $5 fee
Guests under 50 years: $5 fee and must be accompanied by a senior
• Join us for a nutritious lunch at the Carlsbad Senior Center. The dining room is open 11 a.m.–1:30 p.m., with meals served 12–12:45 p.m.
• First-time attendees (ages 60+) must complete a County Intake Form, available at the front desk or online.
• Guests under 60 who would like a meal must pay the guest fee. Accompanying guests who are not dining are not subject to the fee.
• Reservations are encouraged and standing reservations are available for our regular diners. To make a reservation, notify the check-in desk or leave a voicemail on the nutrition line at 442-339-2651.
• Outside food may not be distributed in the dining room, per San Diego County Health Code.
Transportation Service
• Need a ride to lunch? Transportation is available on weekdays for Carlsbad residents, 60+ who cannot drive. Advanced registration and approval are required. Participants must be fully independent and ambulatory. The suggested voluntary contribution for this service is $4 per round-trip *

Home Meal Delivery Service
• Homebound Carlsbad residents 60+ may qualify for home-delivered meals! Senior Center staff can help you complete the required intake form and will conduct a home visit to determine eligibility. The suggested voluntary contribution for this service is $5 per meal *
