Balenciaga officially launched its new creative chapter under the direction of Pierpaolo Piccioli with the Heart and Body campaign, a project that introduces the house’s ambassadors and friends for 2026 and redefines its visual language through a humanism centered on identity, body, and emotion.

“I chose individuals, not characters,” the designer stated, emphasizing that he sought real presence rather than constructed personalities. The narrative shapes his first collections: Summer 26 (The Heartbeat) and Fall 26 (Body and Being).

The first confirmed ambassadors are Winona Ryder and Harris Dickinson.

Joining as friends of the house are Roh Yoonseo, Danielle Deadwyler, Labrinth, Hudson Williams, Mona Tougaard and Loli Bahia.

Photographed by David Sims inside a Parisian industrial-style atelier, the campaign signals a shift: less irony, more authenticity. Balenciaga moves away from immediate provocation and embraces a community bound by respect, sensitivity, strength, and freedom.

The Roman maison announced the news alongside images of Lipa wearing emblematic pieces including the Serpenti watch styled with casual looks.

Former Prince Andrew was arrested on Thursday, February 19, by Windsor police, accused of alleged “misconduct in public office,” in connection with the case linked to American financier Jeffrey Epstein. Thames Valley Police confirmed his detention and are conducting searches at two properties in England, while investigating whether the brother of King Charles III leaked confidential information during his tenure as the UK’s Special Envoy for International Trade between 2001 and 2011.

The arrest follows the release in the United States of millions of additional pages related to Epstein. Buckingham Palace is seeking to distance itself amid the greatest challenge of the reign. Chilean actor Pedro Pascal was spotted over Valentine’s Day weekend in New York alongside Argentine creative Rafael Olarra, fueling speculation about a possible relationship. Initially, social media users confused Olarra with the Chilean former footballer of the same name, who denied being the man in the photos. It was later clarified that he is an Argentine creative director linked to the fashion and art industries, a collaborator of photographer Mario Testino and current creative director of luxury hotel group Faena.

American actor Eric Dane left an intimate and powerful message for his daughters before dying at 53, following a battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The interview, released posthumously by Netflix as part of the format Famous Last Words, shows the Grey’s Anatomy star reflecting on the lessons the disease taught him.

For nearly five minutes, Dane urged Billie and Georgia to “cherish every moment,” live in the present, fall in love with a passion, choose their friends wisely, and fight “with dignity” until their last breath. Diagnosed in 2025, the actor became an ALS advocate and collaborated with I AM ALS to raise awareness.

Following his death on February 19, close friends launched the “Friends of the Dane Family” campaign to raise $250,000. Within just 16 hours, $170,000 had already been collected to support the future of his teenage daughters.
