Map of an artwork
Chapter: circle of trust This is an introductory workshop that allow us to navigate into the creative process of an artwork or a creative piece, a journey that starts with an idea and continues to execution. It is a process of exploration and experimentation of our own self and work as an artist and creative, supporting us on the searching path of our own emotions, feelings and their reflections in our artwork and practice. Map of an artwork: The Circle of Trust is a space where we can connect with ourselves and with others, contemplate individual works and art expressions; using the concept of ritual as important feature of human society and ancient cultures from across the globe and implementing througout each activity or excersice during the 2 days of the workshops ans stages. The Circle of Trust is a safe space for listening and connection. The workshop is divided in three parts. In the first part we will focus on mindfulness activities such as meditation and others that will allow us to “arrive” in the space, feel present and connect with ourself and our creativity. The second and third part will focus on creative processes, where participants will experiment various creative technics, use different tools and media to create or discover various or new perceptions of the creative process. The participants will be working on their own artwork. In our conversation we will share images, pictures and previous artworks or any type of practice of each participant. The objective is to support the participants to find their “artistic” voice, express it in their own unique creative way and allow others to connect with the artwork on a deeper level. Understanding the importance of allowing others to be curious while viewing our art work, let them question it and have different emotions and feelings.
