The submitted study case is about the rupestrian church of Meryemana in Göreme (Cappadocia, Turkey), a small church with mural paints representing valuable heritage at risk due to poor stability of the rock were it’s excavated in.
A scale model, build from 3D data with SLS technology (Selective Laser Sintering), and an augmented reality application, developed with Unity 3D and Vuforia are the way to achieve the main aim of the project, which is the recostruction of the church trough the integration of 3D print techniques and augmented reality technologies.
