Aquaculture of Corals and Sea Urchins at CIROM

Page 1

Institute for Socio-Ecological Research (ISER Caribe), a non-profit organization, focused on the interdisciplinary and innovative research for the ecological restoration of coral reefs and other coastal ecosystems.

Center for Research and Restoration of Marine Organisms (CIROM in Spanish)

ISER Caribe developed and is operating the first and the largest land-based nurseries in Puerto Rico. We are reproducing corals, sea urchins, herbivorous crabs, algae, oysters and mangroves to support marine restoration and aquaculture efforts in PR.
