Loubiere to Bagatelle Road and Bridge Rehabilitation
This project will upgrade 11 km of the primary link between the capital city, Roseau and the southern communities of Bellevue Chopin, Pichelin, and Grand Bay. The project will improve efficiency, climate resilience, accessibility and road safety along the project route and improve accessibility and connectivity to the capital city.

will benefit from reduced travel times, and improved access to all-weather, climate-resilient safe roads along the project route.

residents
in the communities of Bellevue Chopin, Pichelin, and Grand Bay will also benefit from improved access to critical social services in the capital city and increased economic opportunities during and after construction.
This project has been made possible through a grant from the United Kingdom Government under the UK Caribbean Infrastructure Fund (UKCIF), which provides grant funding for climate-resilient infrastructure projects to encourage growth and to support improved livelihoods, poverty reduction and safer conditions for residents. UKCIF is administered by the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB).
