Cardiff Met’s first Internationalisation Training Programme In May 2025, Cardiff Metropolitan University proudly hosted a delegation of academic and professional staff from ten universities across Iraq, alongside colleagues from the Ministry of Higher Education, for a week-long Internationalisation Training Programme. The programme explored the theme of internationalisation in higher education. This was the University's first internationalisation training programme, developed by Global Engagement collaboratively with colleagues across the University. The initiative was designed to help participating institutions strengthen their internationalisation strategies under the Academic Initiative framework and to exchange good practice across diverse higher education contexts.
