Students learn about jobs in emergency management Community news report Ascension Public high school students enrolled in emergency medical technician, emergency medical responder and 911 dispatcher courses had hands-on learning experiences Friday at Dutchtown High’s EMS Day. Outdoor Expo takes over Lamar-Dixon

More than 200 vendors attracted thousands of outdoor enthusiasts March 14-16 during the annual Louisiana Outdoor Expo at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center Gonzales. Located both inside and outside of the expo center, the event featured rods, reels, bows, UTVs and ATVs, tractors, boats and power equipment.
