Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Home & Remodeling Show with Ralph’s Market Food Fest welcomed attendees Jan. 2526 at Lamar-Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales. JAAS Productions and local grocer Ralph’s Market hosted the event featuring more than 50 home improvement and food vendors. The popular annual expo featured the latest innovations in home improvement including kitchen, bathrooms exterior remodeling solutions and siding options.

Free food samples, tastings, and coupons from over 30 food brands were also handed out. Attendees sampled the Ralph’s Market’s bakery’s various king cakes, cheese boards, as well as fried catfish and chicken and sausage gumbo. Ralph’s pricing coordinator Shelbi Metrejean said the event is the perfect time to introduce customers to the bakery’s king cakes such as the Brownie Walnut Cream Cheese, Mississippi Mud, and other special occasion cakes. “I love this expo,” Metrejean said. “A lot of people tell me they came to look at the home expo and ended up going to the food
