Sprinkling rain and cold temperatures did not deter people Saturday from attending the Christmas Stroll in the Park in Gonzales. Hosted by Ascension Parks and Recreation and Bearded Events, the day featured 84 vendors at Duplessis Park. Local small businesses displayed their arts, crafts, baked goods and many other items.
City Hall closures Gonzales City Hall will be closed Dec. 23-25 for Christmas and Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day.
Christmas photos at Petco Visit the Gonzales Petco from noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 15 for holiday photos with your two-legged children and fourlegged pets. The event benefits CARA’s House animal shelter.
Christmas parade The Donaldsonville Christmas will roll through the city at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 21. The parade begins at the Donaldsonville Fairgrounds and end at Mississippi Street and Railroad Avenue.
