Donaldsonville property owners sue Residents say they’re fed up with pile-driving for big Bayou Lafourche project

In December, Donaldsonville residents complained of “extremely loud” noise and alleged damage to historic buildings amid pile-driving for a Bayou Lafourche project that aims to revitalize the water supply. Master Gardener course planned A Louisiana Master Gardener training course will be held in Ascension Parish this fall. The Louisiana Master Gardener Program is a volunteer development program offered by the LSU AgCenter. Master Gardener volunteers are trained and provide proven, researchbased educational programs and outreach. Classes are scheduled Tuesday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales beginning Aug. 6 through October. Found a stray? Here’s how to help Cara’s House animal shelter is offering a new program to help reduce its shelter population and provide care for lost or abandoned animals.
