Cape Fear Academy’s 2025 Costal Physics & Engineering Speaker Panel On Friday, December 5th, 2025, Mrs. Rienks’ F Period Coastal Physics and Engineering class hosted three intelligent speakers to educate our community about what their lives look like as they work with the ocean while balancing project management, engineering, and entrepreneurship. “The experience of doing this panel helped me expand my speaking skills, especially talking to people I've never met. This also taught me more about carrying on conversations with people I've never met,” Mary Ryan Campbell said. The speakers shared interesting facts about their upbringings, college experiences, career paths, and advice for high schoolers still trying to figure out their futures.

It is important for you to know that when you go to college and pick a major, that choice is for you and you alone. You know what you don't like, and you have an idea of what you do like. Follow something you are passionate about, and know that your path may change and that is okay. When you find your place, work is a love not a job,” she said.
