Superintendent Dr. Elizabeth Robison thanked Pocono Mountain School Board directors who volunteer their time and effort at the meeting held on the 30th due to weather on the 25th. She reported that West High School and Tobyhanna participated in a Lego Tournament and robotic competition. Swiftwater PTO received a check for $1,325 for their Youth Activity Program. Also noted were AP Computer Science awards. She concluded her presentation by mentioning a Leukemia Society check of $4,857 for pediatric cancer. She acknowledged teacher Ann Summa who taught first grade at Tobyhanna Elementary, retiring at end of January after 35 years.
