The Burnaby RCMP have released a composite sketch of a man they believe is involved in the assault of a 19-year-old woman in the Edmonds area on Oct. 7. The man is described as being a Caucasian, between 28 and 32 years old, with a medium build. He is approximately 5-9 tall and 154 pounds, with short curly brown hair and a beard. He was wearing a black T-shirt and light coloured sweat pants and was riding a red bicycle. The incident involved a woman walking along a path Artist’s sketch by the SkyTrain line at Edmonds Street of suspect and Griffiths Drive at around 12:45 a.m. when she was approached by the man. The man exposed himself to her and asked for sexual favours. When she refused, the man physically assaulted her and then fled on his bicycle. She suffered minor injuries. The RCMP is still asking witnesses or anybody who may have seen anything that night to contact Const. Sarah Hunter at 604-294-7794.
