Workforce Solutions in a Child Care Crisis A crisis that affects everyone. Economic studies show that the absence of quality child care for children under three results in a yearly loss of $5.48 billion in earnings, productivity, and revenue in the State of Ohio.
The Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Great Start for Great Futures Coalition and Groundwork Ohio, invites employers, community leaders and child care experts from across our region to explore innovative, employer and community-driven solutions that support working families and strengthen our workforce including the child care workforce. The September 9 event will help strengthen connections across Stark and surrounding counties – Carroll, Columbiana, Holmes, Portage, Summit, Tuscarawas and Wayne. Our goal is to create practical solutions that support the workforce, economy, and communities in our region. See page 7 for more information
