In need of career, academic, or general life advice and guidance? Emory’s 17th Annual Green Networking Night features an informal networking opportunity with 60+ alumni and colleagues working in green careers who are ready to connect with you.

This Emory tradition helps to introduce Emory students from many majors and disciplines to alumni, professionals, and community partners who work to advance environmental stewardship and sustainability.

The Bridge Program, organized by the Atlanta Business League (ABL) and sponsored by Atlanta Gas Light (AGL), is designed to foster mentorship and connection between young entrepreneurs and professionals (ages 19-40) and established business leaders in the ABL. The program’s mission is to empower the next generation of business leaders, cultivate relationships, and create positive impacts within Metro Atlanta’s small business community.

The National Museum of African American History & Culture ( NMAAHC) offers an enriching internship program aimed at providing undergraduate and graduate students, recent graduates, and career changers with meaningful, hands-on learning experiences. Interns work alongside museum professionals and scholars across various fields, contributing to the academic and professional development of future museum leaders and advocates. This program supports participants in gaining practical museum skills and experience in both traditional and non-traditional museum careers.

Why Intern at NMAAHC?

Internships at NMAAHC provide participants with the opportunity to: Work closely with museum professionals across multiple disciplines. Gain exposure to museum operations, curatorial work, collections management, and public programs. Develop valuable skills in areas such as digitization, fundraising, marketing, and exhibition design.

The AARP® Purpose Prize® award is a one-of-a-kind national award that honors people age 50-plus who are using their life experience to make a better future for us all. The award recognizes nonprofit founders with $75,000 for their organizations and a year of supports and resources to help broaden their impact. Examples of current supports include one-on-one leadership coaching for founders, data and evaluation consulting, succession planning, prospectus development, social media and branding support, and more.

Eligibility

You will be 50 years of age or older at the application deadline

You are the founder or cofounder of your organization

You started the organization for which you are applying at the age of 40 or older

You still have an active role in the organization

You are a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia

Your organization is a Section 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) non-profit exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(a) of the Internal Revenue Code or a project fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) non-profit organization

Your organization’s principal place of business is in the U.S. (though its work might be international in scope)

Your organization’s work is not exclusively religious

opportunity. Fall and spring sessions are 15 weeks long with a stipend of $5,100; our summer session is 10 weeks long with a stipend of $3,400. Interns work 20 hours per week.

The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship values theological education as an important component of vocational ministry preparation. As a result, we consider it a joy to walk alongside individuals already in the process of pursuing a degree as well as those still in the process of discernment.

CBF AT-LARGE LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIPS

CBF invests in students who are current and future ministry leaders in Cooperative Baptist Fellowship life. We award scholarships annually to Baptist students enrolled in the master of divinity degree program at an accredited institution of higher education.

Recipients of the scholarship receive $4,000 in tuition assistance and a travel stipend of up to $1,000 to attend General Assembly. In addition, they are given opportunities to build community, network and further develop leadership skills for service within Cooperative Baptist Fellowship partner congregations, missions and ministries.
