The application process for the 2018-2019 Candlelighters Scholarship is now open.
Candlelighters will be rewarding three $2,500 scholarships to qualified applicants. Email your completed application to Phil at phil@ candlelightersoregon.org or mail to the location listed on the application.

Candlelighters For Children With Cancer publishes Candlelighters FAMILY Connections six times a year to provide news and other information to families affected by cancer in Oregon and SW Washington.
Our mission is to provide a community of healing, hope, and light throughout the life-long journey of childhood cancer. We advocate, we educate, we build partnerships, and we foster solidarity for all families experiencing cancer.

Our kiddos will be participating in a group art session! Open for ages 5 – 13. There will be availability for 15 kids in each session. Spots are first come, first serve, so RSVP today. All kiddos will have a project to do. While kids are busy, there will be a gathering space for parents with light refreshments and treats.

Programs Intern Welcome Kimberly Wing, our Programs Intern from Warner Pacific College Kimberly is studying for her Masters in Human Services and will graduate in May 2018. Kimberly wanted to be part of Candlelighters because of her own personal connection to childhood cancer. Kimberly’s grandson Karter was diagnosed with Leukemia November 13, 2013. He was in treatment for four years at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. He is currently in remission and will celebrate his 7th birthday on April 25th. Thank you Kimberly for being part of Candlelighters and helping all families experiencing childhood cancer!
