The Recycleship is a conceptual exploration of transformation, where discarded materials are reimagined as architecture. Set in Wailuku, the project responds to climate, topography, and local context through a form shaped by splitting and shifting volumes.

Tires become structure, glass bottles filter light, reclaimed shutters and metal shingles redefine texture and rhythm. Through material experimentation and physical modeling, the design challenges conventional ideas of waste, proving that sustainability can be integrated within architecture.

The Taste of Tranquility is dedicated to enhancing ones physical and mental wellbeing, fostering a connection between the mind and body. The design considers all senses, creating a calming atmosphere through what visitors see, feel, touch, and smell. The building includes a garden maintained by volunteers and staff,

The Ripple Effect celebrates water from a natural and ecosystem perspective while also addressing Barcelonas water scarcity problem through the design of water pods, skylights, and desalintaion within the building. The rhythm of the round shapes mimics the moment a ripple is created when faced with a small force in a space of water. This compact and sustainable design, shapes the movement in the ground of the site, echoing the spaces to maintain the ripple effect with the use of joints.

Natures Industry was developed through selecting pieces from an industrial site to create an inhabital building. In this interpretation of the dystopian-themed building, pipes from the site were taken to create a 2d drawing, which were then extruded to create the natural structure of the building. This project is designed to encourage community and display the harmony between nature and industry.

Seeing like a machine challenges the practical ideas of what architecture is and what it can be. The goal of this project was to apply artificial intelligence into the practice of architecture. The use of AI generated GANS were combined to form the mirroring towers. In addition, the concept of kipbashing was applied to create the facade of the gold plated cantelevers.
