We know that moving can be a busy and sometimes overwhelming experience, so we’re here to help make the process as smooth and efficient as possible for you.
Before your arrival, please take a few moments to review the information provided and complete the steps required in this Guide, to ensure a seamless move-in experience.

Respecting your time with an efficient move-in process – To allow for a smooth move-in, you are required to complete and confirm your move-in date and time prior to arrival.
“Best-In-Class” customer service at move-In - Once you complete the move-in process requirements you will experience a full-service experience which includes:
A Residence Life Welcome and Entrance Tour Hospitality and Welcome Swag
Reduced paperwork - once you complete all the move-in requirements prior to your arrival (See Page 3)

In order to ensure an efficient move-in process, here are some details and suggestions for check-in Please note that no one can check in on your behalf.
Planning to move-in late? Please let us know if you will arrive later than your scheduled move-in date of August 30, 31, September 1, 2025. You can do this by filling out our online Late Arrival Form Click here
Please note carefully:
You will not be permitted to move-in earlier than Saturday, August 30
Elevators cannot be reserved and residents should expect longer than normal wait times during move-in.
Professional moving assistance will be available on August 30,31, half day of September 1st, to help expedite your move-in.
On the day of your arrival please ensure to follow all instructions provided and any posted signage, including signage for the unloading area
All unloading will take place at the main loading dock. Once your vehicle is unloaded, it must be moved immediately to keep the area clear for other residents
CampusOne is in a city centre location, so please ensure that you are following all municipal signs and traffic bylaws.




For the most efficient move-in experience, all incoming residents must complete the following steps before Saturday, August 30, 2025:
1) Set up your Entrata Portal: Entrata is our all-in-one resident app that helps you manage your life at CampusOne with ease. By downloading it, you’ll be able to pay rent, submit maintenance requests, and stay updated with important community announcements right from your phone. Having Entrata ensures you’re always connected and supported throughout your stay with us.

2) Provide Proof of Insurance: As noted in the lease agreement, Campu any liability for unintentional damage(s) or loss(es) that occur to th property of residents. You are required to have insurance, but you may c prefer
In an effort to ensure that our residents are protected while living at CampusOne, we have collaborated with SUMMIT Insurance to directly provide access to coverage, which can be conveniently purchased online in minutes.
Here are a few examples of how insurance can protect you, depending on the coverage you select:
Damage and/or Stolen Valuables Coverage can protect you if you leave your laptop or other items unattended and they are stolen.
Fire or Smoke Coverage can protect you if someone accidentally starts a fire in your unit, causing damage to the building or your personal belongings.
Water Damage Coverage can protect you if you accidentally trigger a sprinkler or through improper use of the shower curtain, cause a leak into the unit below
Remember to have your mandatory liability insurance in place, before move-in
Remember to upload your Insurance Policy to Entrata > Move-In Checklist > Provide Renters Insurance Details




3) Book Your Time of Arrival: In your Entrata portal you will be selecting your arrival date and time in the Move-In Checklist Tab.
To avoid congestion, you must select an arrival time and date,
You are invited to indicate and reserve your move-in preference during the following dates:
Saturday, August 30, 2025 - 9:00AM to 5:00PM
Sunday, August 31, 2025 - 9:00AM to 5:00PM
Monday, September 1, 2025 - 9:00AM to 1:00PM
4) Pay your 1st installment: Keys will not be given to any residents who have not paid their first and last month’s rent and meal plan (if applicable) Accepted payment methods are by cheque, money order, bank draft or via the Entrata online portal Please note that you can provide CampusOne with post-dated cheques for the duration of your lease
Once you complete the above requirements, you can move-in!
You will be provided with your Welcome Envelope and Key Packs upon arrival.
*All items must be completed before move-in.
Residents who have not completed them will be asked to do so outside the loading dock before returning.

Prior to your arrival you will receive your Unit and Bedroom number, and roommates information.
Your Res Life journey starts now! Make sure to start a conversation with your roommates regarding your suite arrangements.
Talk to your roommates before you move-in about common items you can share. For example, you may not want to end up with 4 sets of boot mats!
See the “What to Bring” section of this Guide for some suggestions on what to pack.
Bring the necessities only!
Please DO NOT bring a moving truck or trailer attached to your vehicle. Due to the limited space for unloading and parking vehicles, these cannot be accommodated in the unloading area.
Remember, your room is already furnished!
We provide fully furnished accommodations, so some items are restricted. Please refer to your handbook as items such as couches, mattresses, and other soft furnishings will not be permitted.


Start the year on the right foot with your roommates! You can surprise them with a welcome gift, and attend the Welcome Week events. Don't forget to establish your unit rules in the Roommate Agreement, and remember that communication is key!

If you are arriving by personal car, taxi, or Uber, please carefully review the following instructions for entering, unloading, and promptly exiting the CampusOne loading dock
CampusOne is in a city center location. Please follow all municipal signs and traffic by-laws.
The unloading area will be in the main loading dock and residents will be required to move their vehicles immediately after unloading. The driver MUST stay in the vehicle** .
There is NO parking in the loading dock
Residents are responsible for the cost of parking off-site
Please inquire with our staff if off-property parking is available.

Important notice:

CampusOne’s main entrance and loading dock are located on College Street, a high-traffic area for vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians When entering the loading dock, please proceed with caution: check your mirrors to ensure the bike lane, sidewalk, and street are clear before turning Most importantly, do not stop or block the bike lane at any time. **ANY VEHICLE PARKED IN CAMPUSONE LOADING DOCK AND LEFT UNATTENED WILL BE TICKETED AND TOWED AT OWNER’S EXPENSE.


Due to the number of residents moving in during a short period, it is VERY important that the following steps are adhered to If you have any questions, please let us know. We are happy to assist you and guide you in the right direction.

Upon arrival, please pull into CampusOne’s large loading driveway/dock to check in and unload your belongings Make sure you know your scheduled arrival time and arrive promptly Staff will be on-site to guide you through the loading dock lanes and assign you to one of five unloading spots. The driver must remain with the vehicle at all times during the drop-off.
You must unload and promptly move your vehicle from the loading area once empty. Movers will load your belongings onto carts and transport them directly to your suite/unit door. Meanwhile, you and your designated helper will be directed into the building and up to your unit.
Residents must present government-issued ID for identification. Move-in will be processed by staff at the 2nd floor Please have the following documents ready in case they are requested: Proof of Renter’s Insurance, Payment Receipts, and proof of completion of the online consent training (for U of T students only).
You will receive your Welcome Pack, which includes your suite/unit keys Please keep them with you at all times. To finish your check-in our staff will capture a photo for your key card account ID.
To ensure a smooth move-in, we ask that only one person accompany you to your unit and room

If you arrive by car, temporary parking may be available at the Huron Street lot You can register for complimentary parking on your arrival day only. Overnight or extended parking is at your own expense. Any vehicle left unattended in the CampusOne loading dock will be ticketed and towed, without warning, at the owner’s expense.
If you are arriving on foot from a local transit hub, we will welcome you at the building’s 1st floor, where we have a service desk to assist with your arrival Please ensure all Pre-Move-In requirements are completed beforehand.
If you arrive after the scheduled move-in dates, movers will not be available to assist you. You will be responsible for transporting your belongings to your unit. Please ensure all Pre-Move-In requirements are completed in advance.


CampusOne Staff will be communicating with you through different various means to share important notices, building updates, Res Life events, and more!

You must complete the Unit Inspection Form in your Entrata portal under > Messages & Alerts > Inspection.

Complete the Roommate Agreement given to you by your floor Don and return the physical signed copy to the box provided on the 2nd floor

The Res Life Team has 17 Dons, 3 Senior Dons and 1 Residence Life Coordinator You can locate your Don information on your floor bulletin board
CampusOne Dons are residents who work with us. Their objective is to make sure you have a positive Res Life experience. You will see them at the desk, doing on call rounds and running programs
Your Don is here to help whenever you have a roommate conflict, need someone to talk, or when you want to know more persons in the community
